Guest guest
Moderator's Note: Please research Chronic Wasting Disease in wild animals. It is similar to Mad Cow in beef. I have seen quite a good deal of Lyme and other tick and flea borne infections from nice OH folks. Almost always missed. I worry about these touching the hides and those in communities with deer and mice not too far away. My family is from Cleveland and I still have relatives there. I think you can get wild game from various processors here in my county. Lots of hunters. Deer is the most common but you might be able to find various birds as well. I could call around if you like. We moved here in 1990 and the first thing I learned about was the annual Raccoon Dinner held in Danville, OH. I have never been, never will go. Raccoon is road kill to me. But several hundred folks " enjoy " this every year. Coon hunting is on the decline as the pelts are no longer worth much so they are becoming a nuisance. But, I digress. Let me know if I can help you with the game issue. Linda Michaels Gambier, OH michaelsljc
