getting ready for pregnancy

Hi,

I am 29 years old and a lacto-ovo vegeterian. I want to start a family

in the near future.I would like to know if any of you have any

nutritional recommendations that can help me be in good health prior

to becoming pregnant. Besides the obvious guidelines given by dotors

(taking folic acid, etc) what helps prepare the body for pregnancy.

What about during a pregnancy and after?

Thanks in advance,

cristina

Hi Cristina,

It is going to be really important that you avoid all caffeine. Caffeine

stimulates estrogen,

that's not a good thing when wanting to get pregnant. So many miscarriages occur

around

the 6th to 8th week. Alternative doctors have found that the main cause of these

miscarriage is that the woman was estrogen dominant, meaning too much estrogen

and

not enough progesterone. What they have found is the estrogen actually

suffocates the

fetus, causing a miscarriage. SO SAD...

In preparation for your pregnancy, you might want to consider some

detoxification so your

body is strong and ready to carry that precious baby. I would also suggest you

do some

major research on the benefits of using natural progesterone prior to your

pregnancy.

Progesterone gets it's name from Pro Gest, which means progestation , which

means *for

life*. Progesterone is the main hormone needed for a successful pregnancy.

Wishing you the best as you prepare for your wee one.
