Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am a diabetic and I recently stumbled across a very simple method of helping to control blood sugar. Maybe everyone knows this and I am the last to know. But, I noticed that if I increased the amount of water I was drinking to a minimum of 6 glasses a day, better 8 to 12, then my morning blood sugar read was lower by several points. I now have a glass of water when I wake up, another after breakfast and before I head for work. Another bottle while I'm on my commute etc through out the day. I also have a glass of water before bedtime. This has had an amazing result. My blood sugar in the morning (even if low when I went to bed) has been high 7.2, 7.3 sometimes 7.6 . Now with the change in how much water I drink which started about 5 days ago, my blood sugar has ranged from a low of 6.0 in the morning, to 6.8 at the highest. The only thing I have changed is my water intake. I think the water helps flush sugars from the body.
