Basic Answer Needed

I'm a 40 year old 6'03 " 230 lb Type 1 for 11 years. I have a larger

than average caloric intake need. I'm not as active as I could be but

I'm not grossly overweight. (maybe 5-10 lbs) I need a definitive

opinion that isn't influenced by Big Pharma as to my diet necessary to

both satisfy and be healthy. I'm not opposed to a Vegan Diet. But I

would rather not give up the ole Ribeyes and Turkeys and Chickens. My

insulin intake is about 5-10 units, twice a day, of regular insulin

and I use 70/30 for my lente insulin about 10-15 units twice a day

(cost reasons). I am really tired of the routine and am now ready to

do what's best.
