Guest guest
Hot dogs, and other processed meats like bacon & suasages are filled with toxic garbage. I sure would not eat them more than once a year, at most. I have no idea about oxalate levels, but I suspect they are not high oxalate. Guest guest
An Average Hot-Dog is the most toxic food known. It has already been proven: Children who eat hot-dogs two-three times a week have a higher incidence of Mental Retardation. This is due to the Artificial colors and esp. The Nitric Acid they add. They add Nitric Acid to preserve the food stuff against Bacteria. However; the Nitric Acid causes Brain damage so you all " go figure as to why they sell Hot dogs in schools to deveolping children.bad food.--- In , Alobar <Alobar wrote: > > Hot dogs, and other processed meats like bacon & suasages are filled > with toxic garbage. Guest guest
Would this include the hot dogs they sell at Whole Foods that are organic chicken hot dogs without the nitrates? Guest guest
No real research has been done comparing commercial hot dogs with the one sold by Whole Foods. Many people seem to feel the Nitrates arfe the big problem, but no real research has been done. We do know that people with a lot of processed meats have long term health problems. Whether WholeFoods hot dogs are free of those problems, or not, has never been examined, to my knowledge. I would guess they are better than commercial hot dogs, for many reasons, but there is no hard evidence that I am aware of. Guest guest
No; Organic Turkey etc Nitric Free are a whole new ball game. I refer to your Supermarket red dyed Hot-Dogs;sidewalk hot-dogs etc. It is already well known Red Dye in Hot-Dogs causes headaches; esp. if the Hot Dogs are boiled. There are also Tofu Hot dogs and patties.- -- In , " sheryl_melling " <melling wrote: > > Would this include the hot dogs they sell at Whole Foods that are > organic chicken hot dogs without the nitrates? > > Sheryl > > > > An Average Hot-Dog is the most toxic food known. Guest guest
I would look for " Nitrate Free: then " No Colors or Artificial Flavors: then " No MSG(MonoSodium Glutamate. Why buy Hot Dogs at all? It is the mustard relish and ketchup that makes people like Hot-Dogs. You could put mustard relish and ketchup on an egg-sandwich just as well. There are few Nutrients in a commercial Hot dog. Try a Fried Egg on Bagel with Onion Tomatoe and lettuce ketchup etc. (Hint: The Vitamin A in the fried eggs will improve their eyesight;the Vitamin D and egg whites help build bones and tissues. Guest guest
Oxalates are a naturally occuring substanceS in certain leafy green veggies; such as Spinach. Most Veggies except Yam are low In Oaxolates. Oxalates are not bad in themselves;only when too much is eaten; such as if Spinach were eaten three times daily for a season. No Oaxalates in Hot-Dogs that I am aware of. MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE CALLED MSG IS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. Guest guest
Oxalates are naturally ocurring substances which some people have a hard time handling. For instance, if I eat spinach one a week, I get intense leg cramping. Autistic people and those with Aperger's syndrome are real prone to have problems with oxalate.
