Milk, meat and eggs from animals which have been fed with GM plants do

not have to be labelled. Consumers in Europe are thus unknowingly

supporting the cultivation of GM plants.

 

This has to change! For this reason Greenpeace is collecting signatures

throughout Europe for a petition for labelling to be made mandatory.

More than 900,000 have already signed their names, and this figure is due

to reach a million. In Greece, Luxembourg and Germany there are also

'actions' with photos.

 

You can order a magnet for your own 'GM-free fridge' from Greenpeace

International.

 

Sign too! Either online on [the online] form; or download the list as a

pdf file and have your friends sign too.

 

We are calling for mandatory labelling of animal products. The right to

information is a basic right in the EU.
