I just wanted to put in my two cents that from what I have read and researched, hemp oil can indeed be a highly effective tool to use against cancer.

I have no personal experience with the use of hemp oil. Well, at least not the medicinal use of hemp oil. I WAS a child of the 60's and 70's after all.

I live here in Sonoma County California 1 hour north of San Francisco and it is legal to grow here. You can have a certain amount of plants. With a prescription you can go purchase it in stores too.

Loiuse,

Good for you. I don't consider hemp a "drug" per se... it is an herbal extract containing all the cannabinoids contained in the original plant. It's actually good for you although some folks don't like the "high" effects. After a few weeks of taking it you probably won't get that feeling any more as your body gets used to it and you saturate your cells with the ingredients. Watch Run from the Cure or go to Rick Simpson's site phoenixtears.ca for all the info you'll need. Rick recommends taking 6 grams over a 90 day period I believe. Good luck.

Re: Regarding hemp

I'm on Vancouver Island and we can get it here too on campassionate use. We actually have a society here that helps patient's with it and they grow it organically. I don't do drugs but I'm going to try the oil. I have to get a note from my Dr first. I spoke with one guy who does smoke the stuff liesurely and he said the society's is actually really powerful.Louise

Tammatha, just to say hi - I just moved to the East Coast to care for my sister,

but Santa Rosa is home :-)

As for hemp oil, don't know if it's been mentioned, I'm still struggling to find

my way around the forum, but the 'authority' on the subject is a Canadian

gentlemen by the name of Rick Simpson. Do a search for 'phoenix tears' and

you'll get to his web site; a YouTube search for the same will produce many

useful videos.

I've seen the oil being made and I've seen the final product, as well as

'tested' it topically, and it did 'heal' a weird something on my cheek in no

time. I've also ingested a tiny amount of it, just to see what happens - I need

to emphasize that I cannot smoke or eat cannabis at all (one time teen

'experiment' led to lungs seizing up... even being around it second hand makes

me incredibly nauseus and kicks off a migraine from hell). Anyhow, ingesting a

tiny amount did nothing negative to me - didn't get high, didn't get sick, but

did sleep like a baby that night (many hours later).

Anyhow, just thought I might be able to offer a bit of extra info for those

interested :-)

Tammatha,

That is interesting as when stateside I lived in Ca, for 25 years and didn't know that. I am in So. Ca. but my aunt lived in Santa Rosa all her life until she died. I used to love to visit her.

Wouldn't help me any way I couldn't grow a cactus.

Thanks for the info.

Barbara n germany-

I live here in Sonoma County California 1 hour north of San Francisco and it is legal to grow here. You can have a certain amount of plants. With a prescription you can go purchase it in stores too.

Thank you yes I found Rick on the internet years ago he is quite famous. I too struggle with smoking it as well. It is pretty strong so I hear ya. I got a prescription for it when I was going through chemo & radiation, like you I slept like a baby. I know it is completely different from the oil though.
