Guest guest
It is a nice spring day, not summer:-) not that warm, but a nice day here in Germany. I went to the farmer's marker that I go to every Saturday morning when it is not too cold. I haven't been there in a while. Got some lovely veggies and fruits, biggest strawberries, and the pineapple is lucious. I had the two girls with me and we stopped for lunch at our usual stop, and as we were walking back I noticed a coffee shop/cafe and stopped in for a coffee and dessert, yes coffee and desset that's what I said:-) However it is an organic coffee shop and advertised on the outside as Bio which is organic. Anyway, the desserts are sweetened with honey and natural sweeteners. As we were sitting here, the guy behind the small counter in this very small shop was saying something loudly and this lady came out with a cylindar type long thingy smoking hot and on a long stick type thing. She was ROASTING their coffee beans, she took them outside where she shook them around for a long time and then put them in a container and we got to look at them when she came back in. In all my travels I have never seen anything like that before and I gotta tell you that was the BEST coffee I have even had even in Turkery. This may not be of interst to many of you, but it was a terrific day especially since we had a very long, COLD, SNOWY, winter. Hugs, Barbara N Germany who is having a terrific day while the rest of you are slumbering. Hope everyone's day is a good as mine.
