Guest guest
I've posted before. My mom has pancreatic mets to liver cancer. She's in the hospital and I've tried to give her the FO/CC. It's sporadic now (2tbs FO when she's up to it) and I can't control what she eats there. I have the IP6 pills but she takes so many pills that she can't even think about taking any more. I also want to sneak the Oleander into the protocol but I haven't ordered it yet and I wonder if it's just too late because it takes 12 days to get to NY from Africa, no? And what pancreatic enzymes should I give her (assuming I get the chance), bromelain? She has an antibiotic resistant UTI (just mentioned in the NYT) and pneumonia. Thus, she has been on antibiotics. Lately, she has been having anxiety. She has swelling in the legs. And her body is itching. All over. Are these cancer symptoms or healing die off or something else? I am preparing myself for the worst. Because her situation has been so dire and she's had so many complications. Thanks. And I echo the sentiments of another poster about . In my short membership time here, has been great.
Guest guest
Hi Jeff,I never say it's too late and again, do the best you can. You can get speedier delivery on the oleander by ordering Rose Laurel OPC Plus from Utopia Silver. It is made by the same manufacturer of Sutherlandia OPC and the only difference in these two products is that Rose Laurel OPC contains 33% more oleander, which may be more effective against cancer. If you order from Utopia Silver, be sure and use coupon code LR001. This will give you a 15% discount if it is not on sale, and should you order $100 worth of products, you will receive one free bottle of colloidal silver.Bromelain has anti-cancer and anti-tumor properties. However, since your mother is in the hospital and on medications, I am going to post a paragraph taken from A Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol.Bromelain. Several studies have indicated anti-cancer and anti-tumor properties of the enzyme bromelain, which comes from the pineapple plant. One of the primary anti-cancer properties of bromelain may be it's ability to help prevent cancer from growing and spreading. Bromelain is also a powerful binder which can greatly increase the absorption of other supplements and medications (for that reason, a qualified medical professional. preferably a naturopathic one, should be consulted before taking large amounts of bromelain with other medications where increased absorption might be a cause for concern). Take 500 to 750 mg capsules thirty minutes before meals or two hours after meals. Good when combined with bromelain.I believe you would give her proteolytic enzymes to address pancreatic cancer. And since there may be additional enzymes to add, I am going to leave it at this, and let Tony and someone more familiar in this area finish responding to this question.Jeff, as for the swelling of her legs, it sounds like your mom has congestive heart failure. What is her breathing like? Is she able to walk without losing her breath? Have the doctors mentioned this and what are they doing about it? Cayenne pepper is extremely beneficial when it comes to congestive heart failure and the entire cardiovascular system. I will refer you to Dr. Christopher's Cayenne Extract from iherb. If this is your first order with iherb, you can get $5.00 off by using code XOT949. You would mix one dropper full in a "gulp" of juice (make sure that it is 100% juice with no fillers and/or sugar). My concern here is that it is "hot." This is due to the capsicum which it contains and this is what is responsible for cayenne's benefits. In your mom's condition and with her reluctance to do certain things, it may be too much for her. So, second best, I would suggest cayenne capsules, which may be easier on her. Again, the same code applies for $5.00 off. But here is another hitch, your mom is on medications, and I assume she is on heart medications, so check with the doctor before you introduce the cayenne. I am not really not sure if it interacts with heart medications, and maybe someone could help me out here. And thank you Jeff for your compliment. This is why we are here. To do all we can to facilitate healing. This is how Tony and I have chosen to dedicate our lives. And please know that we are here for you, emotionally and physically. My Best,
Guest guest
Thanks for the answers .The Dr's are saying my mom has 1-2 weeks again, and I think they might be right. My mom is in constant pain. One day she was ok and the next day she's in pain and very tired. They needed to up her pain dosage and she just seems drugged, can barely speak and doesn't want to eat.I don't think I can get anything in her. Budwig, IP6, Oleander/Rose Laurel. Maybe a liquid at most. Before I had some hope, and now I'm devastated. My advice to anyone else is if you think ANY of these protocols will work, you must start on them immediately. We really never had a chance because the diagnosis came about say 2-3 weeks ago. And the nature of the diagnosis, pancreas cancer mets to liver, doesn't give you much time to work with.I hope everyone else in these situations are able to overcome this.all the best--Jeff
