Hey Maria, I am in Aussie too. Ebay here has a few and some are new. I like the San-Up Ultrasonic one. It is new with a 1 year guarantee and price is $130 (or $110 if you don't mind one that is dressed up like a kids toy).

If you go to Ebay and search for "ULTRASONIC ASTHMA NEBULISER" it will come up.

Here is the technical data for it: http://www.sanup.com.ar/ingles/productos.htm

It's model No 3042 - at the bottom of that page on the left.

Any body else like to comment on this model?

I'll Text my Wife as she just left for work (Respiratory Therapist) and

see what her experience is with the Ultrasonic Nebuliser.

<Sanup Ultrasonic Nebulizer-Model 3042: This unique model with A.D.R.®

" Adaptive Dose Delivery " enables the patient to adjust the aerosol delivery

intermittently according to the patient´s individual breathing pattern (the

aerosol is delivered during inhalation and stopped during exhalation). In this

way, the solution/drug is used to the full reducing wastage. Functional design,

high performance. Silent. This model comes with the exclusive Closed Water

Chamber system, easy to use: all you need to do is to pour the solution and it

is ready to use.

It is suitable to be used with Warm® heating device which heats the nebulization

mist (optional accessory). It carries a timer and an air flow adjuster. Adult

and pediatric masks and a mouthpiece are also provided.

Well I had a Chat with Me Wife. She said that this type of Nebulizer

was used in the Past at her Hospital. The Models they used were

extremely Expensive and the replacement parts were also costly. They

now use the low cost Nebulizer Pack ( Mouth Piece or Mask type

depending on need) and use the Wall Plate that either supplies Filtered

Air (Yellow Plate) or O2 ( Green Plate Oxygen) to power the Nebulizer

Container at 7 liters per minute.

Now I personally have a Medical Industries America Sport Neb

Compressor. I have a case of Nebulizer Packs that contain 2 meters of

Hose, Mouth Piece, Flex Pipe, a "T" connector and Nebulizer that holds

about 10 ml of solution. If anyone need a pack I have them for $4.00 +

shipping.

The compressors are made by many companies out there. I would have 1 as

a backup for those with Asthma or other Lung Ailments. Hopefully soon I

too will have these as a Complete Package including CS for a low cost

that anyone to afford.
