Guest guest
I bought the Silver Bullet last year and made my first batch of silver which turned out perfect and registered 20 on the meter. Today I made some more; however, this time, after cooking it and making it exactly as last time, it only registered 10 on the meter. I decided to do cook it again and at the end it was still only a 12, and it was kind of cloudy w/ some black particles (I think it came from the silver wires). I had to filter it. Everything was identical to last time, even the type of distilled water I used. Any thoughts on why it measured 20 the first time and 10 this time? And is 10 good enough? Thanks, Marcia
Guest guest
Maybe you should ask Ben about that. Did you clean the silver wires off first? 10 PPM is fine, it just takes twice as much to get the same benefits as 20 PPM. oleander soup , "sunlovernv" <Marcia_Grogan wrote:>> I bought the Silver Bullet last year and made my first batch of silver which turned out perfect and registered 20 on the meter.> > Today I made some more; however, this time, after cooking it and making it exactly as last time, it only registered 10 on the meter. Guest guest
This has happened to me many times when i did not pay attention when cleaning the silver rods. The end tip of the rod also turns black, so make sure you clean that as well. There is a blue non-scratch pad that i use which does a pretty good job. Also try to straighten up your rod as much as possible and keep distance from each other just as set by manufacturer. I tried to make it closer and it gave me a low reading. I thought that would not matter. Guest guest
Thanks for the tips Melly. I did clean the wires but not the ends--never thought to do it. When I cleaned them I just wiped them clean with a paper towel, but i'll use something other than that and see if it works.
