Hi All,

I am a member of some health and have noticed that recently some groups are being viciously attacked by "new members". These members i believe are trolls of big pharma or its slave the fda. Just letting you be aware that these people will inject strong inuendos to make you doubt the efficacy of some treatments. I've seen an ad in a philippine website recruiting part time employees who will be given products, including medicines, and they will write positively about those products....see....they are now going to manipulate the ratings...despicable, dishonest companies.

Yes, trolls are a big problem. We appear to have at least one who joined this group. In the past two days someone joined Answers and began making posts against oleander which usually also attacked me and my credibility. He claims to have read every post in this group - all 20,ooo of them - and not found a single testimonial of success. He also said that he and four of his friends all took oleander without success. His initial questions (since deleted because of violations of Community Guidelines) indicated a lack of knowledge about oleander, yet his latest post there claims to have not only read all the messages here but also that he has spent seveal hours each week studying oleander. If that were true, he would not have made such uninformed questions and answers nor would he have posted such a blatant lie about there being no success stories.

Here is what might be the topper. He also said that he took oleander six years ago. There were no oleander supplements available six years ago. Neither was this group around six years ago nor was my book out six years ago.

I know that he is a member here because he listed post numbers where he said I claimed oleander had a 90% success rate. What we have consistently said is to take oleander as part of an overall cancer fighting protocol and when you do that has an apparent success rate across the board of over 90%. Marc Swanepoel has tracked over 1000 people who took his supplement and reportst the same thing (about 85% success thus far against stage III and IV cancers and about 95% success against stage I and stage II cancers).

Trolls and spammers are why everyone here is put on moderated status for the first six months or until their posts demonstrate that they are not here to cause trouble or sell something.

No matter what safeguards are in place, there is no way short of a personal interview and background check to keep trolls completely at bay. But we do try, and when we find them they get the boot.

Now, I challenge our current member who I think is a troll to reveal himself and prove what he has posted. Who wants to bet that he won't dare do so?

All the best.

Melly,Thank you for this warning. And thank you for giving a detailed description with regard to what their agenda is.As for our own personal forum, Oleandersoup, well....... too late. As Tony pointed out, we have at least one troll lurker in our midst. As Tony stated, this is one of the reasons why we are so careful and posts are moderated for the first few months. Your information came through at the perfect time. Thank you.Hugs,
