a little dish soap and water in spray bottle works great for me

Paula ...... in Michigan

Last year I had such terrible troubles with aphids around my garden, it seemed

that nothing worked to rid us of these pests!

I had overwintered my pond plants in the garage - now that they are getting

some nice spring growth, I am noticing the aphids are covering the plants! Any

advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks in advance,

Tammy

Hi,

I think I must know a different kind of Rapeseed oil because the one available

here in Europe is food grade and considered better than Olive Oil by some. They

grow huge fields of it with lovely yellow flowers and in the last few years cold

pressed small producer rapeseed oil has become all the rage in the fancy

restaurants.

Yes, Canola oil is a trademarked name for a certain variety of rapeseed oil, and

US grocery stores are filled with the stuff in the vegetable oil section. Maybe

it's a different variety of rapeseed oil?

I wanted to thank all of you who replied to my post about aphids, so far I have

had great success with dishsoap - I will try some of the other ideas if I notice

they come back!

Thanks again for taking the time to respond!
