Guest guest
- Andrea Gauland Hello Andrea, I was very much interested in your reply to the gray hair string. Could you please be so kind and give me, here or to my private e-mail address, more details on not using anything besides warm water to wash your hair. My hair is, and has always been, oily and now it is thinning. So,I'd like to try some new approach, as anything I did over the years, did not work for me. I hope to hear from you. Thanks, Lucia Friday, April 16, 2010 4:24 PM Re: GRAY HAIR or WHITE HAIR Or, you could stop washing your hair altogether. 8 ) I stopped using anything but warm water on my hair 3 years ago, and the gray hairs I had (not many) are gone... Guest guest
There would be more of us that are interested in these responses too. I've gone without washing my hair (using just water from the shower) for 3 weeks.and have since been told that it will take about 6-8 weeks for one's hair to become rebalanced. I would like to go this route but having to go on interviews etc. for jobs - it's really not the best time as I shouldn't be showing up with overly oily hair! Regardless, I'd love to hear more about it, how long, what happens etc. I haven't " washed " my hair except for one shower in which I used some melaleuca gold bar soap.perhaps I could go the 8 weeks. Guest guest
ARNICA MONTANA Q mixed with normal hair oil is great to restore the health of hair, so are few other tinctures for the purpose. Apply and massage it at night and wash hair early morning. Natrum mur 30 for oily hair is a good remedy, if taken three times a day for few days but all this should be under the directions of a homeopath. Shampoos are made from chemicals and are harmful to hair like other chemicals are. One should avoid such things. Guest guest
For me, a few weeks of an itchy scalp was worth it to not have to use ANYTHING on my hair anymore. It doesn't it anymore, it was only during the period of 'rebalancing' of the oils of the scalp and hair. Each to his own. 8 ) Cheers Andrea NZ On 28/04/2010, at 7:03 AM, Desert Fire wrote: > 8 weeks without washing the hair? oh no, no way could i do this, my > head would itch me like crazy. > > Blessings, > > Cathy K
Guest guest
Hi, Lisa -- I " m happy to share, just ask any questions you might have. I think probably my experience is fairly common from what I've read about it, and everyone's experiences will probably vary somewhat. I have always had naturally thick, coarse and wavy hair, on the oily side, and have almost always worn it long. Shampoos left my hair frizzy unless I used a leave-in conditioner. From what I had read, I expected more oiliness than I actually had, especially given that my hair had always been oily. I first tried just using baking soda followed by am apple cider rinse, but I found my hair would tangle very easily, and I would have to spend on age getting out the tangles afterwards before I could even get a brush through it. So, I just went cold turkey one day. I think also the key is only washing a few times a week rather than every day. The natural oils everywhere on the body are not meant to be washed off every day. I never got any type of dandruff flakes, but then I've never really had dandruff. The first 2-3 weeks were just oilier hair than usual. My hair didn't ever smell dirty, as I'd feared it might, and the itching hit really badly by about week 3. Still, with twice a day thorough brushing, by 6 weeks it was pretty much done. I've read that it can take up to 8 weeks for the itching to stop. Mine peaked about 5 weeks then tapered off entirely. My hair is thicker and softer than it's ever been, and it goes nice and non-frizz wavy as it dries (I've never used a hair dryer on my hair). Hope this helps! 8 ) Cheers Andrea NZ On 27/04/2010, at 1:58 AM, Lisa wrote: > There would be more of us that are interested in these responses too. > > I've gone without washing my hair (using just water from the shower) > for 3 > weeks.and have since been told that it will take about 6-8 weeks for > one's > hair to become rebalanced. Guest guest
Hair: She has achieved a balance most have had for millions of years, but everyone is different and we unknowing are looking at our hair and not our environment, diet, and health in wholeness. For me a person who sweats easy and with same oils build up I can speak of my solution and also identify other areas that may contribute as diet & stress. Immersing head under in hot bath .. I do three times brushing in water or with fingers.using Epson or Dead Sea Salt..it lifts oils, old skin, dandruff , you can use other Essential oils for oily or needy hair. Brushing these oils down to scalp before washing, condition scalp and pulls oils to length of hair. Rosemary, peppermint and other stimulate scalp circulation along with the brushing. What itches in your hair is old sweat and toxins and dead skin tissue, But if you go soap less the first time you use shampoo again you will get a soap itch that is more pronounced, as she said your scalp will balance and water has worked millions of year..Salt scrubs are in use for all kinds of skin cleaning and repair. Every once in awhile if real oily I will use a spoonful of peppermint castile liquid soap but soak all trace of this off in last immersion of bath so no residue is left. for dry hair add Jojoba oil a few drops on brush for wet hair after bathing. Showers will never soak or exfoliate dead skin...If you take a salt bath even with Epson salts of a cup or more and then let tube settle after bath you will be amazed how much skin is in bottom of tub. On baths after in continued use this become less as you get to daily levels, as build up is removed and skin more healthy. Bacteria, skin odors and skin problems all gone without drugs or foreign substance. The other effect used by models is to reduce wrinkles. Environment: Our hair and skin is like a sponge and we collect toxic things in a toxic world.this will vary with everyone's exposure. What goes in: Diet and other internal toxins effect what we sweat and stress and hormones may also play into each person's scalp and hair problem. Look at these as well as your skin the largest organ in your body for removing them and we may be creating the condition in other habits. I was so amazed in what removing caffeine did for my health, as thought insignificant and in denial we still do these things. So look close to a whole body solution.
