Lactose Intolerance question???

Ok Everyone, try this one for size:

Is there any way to REVERSE Lactose Intolerance?

I used to drink a fair amount of milk when I was yonger but I consumed

whole milk for the flavor. I never could handle the watered-down flavor

of 2% or 1% and could not get past the " smell " of skim. Yeah, I know

there are " soy " and even " Almond " alternatives, but not impressed with

the flavor of them either.

Also, I like cheese. LOVE pizza so all of these give me problems too.

There was also something on one of those late-nite " Infomercials " that

said that if you use this in 30 days my Lactose Intolerance will be

gone. Don't hold much creedence in that one sense they wanted me to sign

up for an " auto-ship " program @ $35./month. Yeah right.

Any resonable ideas please.

*Most* people (another way to put it: a high percentage) of folks who are

lactose intolerant do very well with RAW milk.

We've been using raw milk for at least two years now and interestingly

enough my husband who used to complain a couple times a month that the milk

he put in his coffee bothered him.hasn't said a word since (go figure).

Google " raw milk " and do the research as to why raw milk is so much better

for you (and those who are lactose intolerant). You will more than likely

find that you can tolerate raw milk much better than the crap they sell in

stores (pasteurized, homogenized etc.)

I believe (off the top of my head) a good place to start is:

There are essentially two camps of perspective to this in regards natural based

medicine: the first is that nothing can be done, you will need to take lactase

enzyme whenever lactose is ingested to break down the sugars (ie. tolerate). The

other is that the pancreas can be tonified (not a subject oft discussed in

allopathic circles simply because that is not a portion of their medicine). This

then is highly individualized and requires much patience and experimentation.

This of course is dependent on your particular system and it's reaction not only

to lactose but equally important is the health and vitality of your overall

digestive system.

There is much that can be done even if you were to take lactase with dairy, in

other words you can work to tonify your gut and pancreas and take lactase at the

same time working towards decreasing the amount of enzyme necessary from

external sources.

I won't go into manners to tonify as it would take up much space, but if you are

interested write me off-list.

All good things, Tymothy

You can first try going to raw organic milk and see. That can make a huge

difference. And make your own pizza with raw organic mozzarella perhaps. Also,

proper homeopathic treatment can resolve intolerances such as this. Both would

be ideal.

That product sounds like some kind of 'bandaid' type product for the problem,

that can have toxicity for you.

You can try making a homeopathic remedy from it- in a 12 or 30c and take it, it

works for some people. I have a book coming out about this sort of thing that

could help but it isn't done yet. JS

Taking a homeopathic remedy made from the thing you are allergic to is an

allopathic use of homeopathy. This can sometimes help the issue, but the action

is usually suppressive which can cause more problems later...in areas that may

not appear connected. One should always have a complete case taken by a

homeopath so a proper remedy can be chosen to heal the whole person. Then the

issues get resolved in the right way, permanently.

Using the remedy made from the offensive item (Isopathic) is fine in

acute/emergency poisonings and such- but not chronic issues.
