In the USA, LNB represents the third most frequent manifestation of LD after cutaneous involvement and arthritis. The scope of this article is, in the light of recent publications, to review the specific manifestations of LNB in children including predictive models, and to discuss diagnosis criteria, new diagnostic tools and new therapeutic options.
