Guest guest
Depending on which kind of saline you use... My daughter uses the Sinus Rinse by NeilMed and will sometimes complain of ear blockage. The directions that came with the box have you tip your head to the side, and do not hold your breath while squirting the rinse. Although I have her do this, sometimes she'll still have ear blockage and finds herself jumping on one foot like she just got out of the pool. An over use of her Nasal Rinse can lead to an ear infection, but that's using it in excess of 4-6 times a day when she has a cold. She also had a deviated septum, but it didn't worsen the effects of the ear clogging. After her deviated septum was removed, nothing improved the ear clogging except tipping her head to the side and breathing out while squirting in the rinse slowly. Using the saline " Spray " ... I personally never leave the saline spray in my nose, I give it a squirt and then blow it out. I've never had problems with ear clogging this way. , " doglover894 " <doglover894 wrote: > > I squirt some in and I notice later, my ears feel clogged.
