If you are diabetic, DO NOT TAKE Avandia! The New York Times on

February 19 reported that hundreds are dying every month from taking

this diabetic drug. A couple of (honest) researchers at the FDA stated

that Avandia should be recalled, but, as usual, the FDA is stalling in

favor of Big Pharma. In the meantime, the drug is killing and damaging

hundreds of people. The researchers found that 500 people suffered

heart attacks and over 300 suffered heart failure from this drug.

If your MD has prescribed this drug for you, he's behind the news.

Refuse to take it.

Dr Scott Reuben, Of Pfizer, pleaded guilty to faking dozens of research

studies, all published in Med Journals. He completely faked studies on

Celebrex, Bextra, Vioxx, and many other studies for Pfizer. There were

dozens of other faked studies as well where no patients were even

enrolled. If anyone on this list is on any of these meds, better check

with your MD.

This is not unusual. Big Pharma has been faking phony studies for many

years on not only drugs, but on vitamins. There are " Peer reviewed "

studies that " prove " various wrong facts about Vitamin C , E, and other

supplements. 30 years ago, a couple of Canadian brothers named Shupe

proved that Vitamin E helps keep hearts healthy, and phony Big Pharma

articles keep demeaning this. I've written many articles on vitamin C

phony tests, and the literature is full of more of these.

Medical Journals are where all MD's get their " coninuing education " , and

because of these many misinformation and downright phony pieces, MD's

are all too often " educationally handicapped " .

They've renamed Aspartame, and are actually calling it a " supplement "

now. The Japanese inventors have learned a few tricks from Big Pharma

it seems. There is sufficient proof of the dangers of Aspartame's

toxicity to ban it from use, but instead, it's renamed, and will kill

lots more. On my web page on it, I cite the fact that it is one of the

best ant killers (including fire ants) ever known. If it's so toxic

that it kills fire ants, how can it be good for us?

I realize better than many that we are an overcrowded planet, and need

to cut down the population growth, but is this the way?

I've spent the last two weeks cleaning up my web sites, making it easier

to find free alternate health information I have on line, cleaning up

and/or deleting failed links, etc. There are still over 50 pages of

free information ranging from a solution to high blood pressure in

women to diabetes to a cure for PMS , and much much more - all free.

There are also over 50 articles that can be downloaded on even more

subjects - all free. Take a look at the Navigation area and the " Dr

Bate's Articles " link in the header.
