PBS Features Neal Barnard, M.D., on Special One-Hour Program

Beginning March 6, PCRM president Neal Barnard, M.D., will be featured on PBS

stations across the country, explaining the link between diet and health. During

the 60-minute program " Taking Control of Diabetes with Dr. Neal Barnard " he will

share his scientifically proven system to take control of diabetes through

nutrition, without drugs. This approach addresses diabetes, but also helps with

other ailments including high blood pressure, cholesterol, heart disease, and

weight.

Last fall, Dr. Barnard was invited to speak about this program on Detroit public

TV. The overwhelming success of that show prompted PBS to create this multi-city

tour to get the message out to a much wider audience.

Dr. Barnard is a leading clinical researcher, adjunct associate professor of

medicine, author, and one of America's most influential health advocates. You

are invited to tune in for an in-depth explanation about how changing your diet

can help you take control of your diabetes and other health conditions. Program

times are subject to change, so please check your local listing.
