Guest guest
Hi Scrappy Mom, The problem with Glutathione is that it is quite expensive to make and get into the body, and it doesn't last long there, so it's not too effective All autism children seem to very low in this particular chemical. What isn't well known to MD's and others is that it's primary use is to help get rid of toxic minerals - mercury mostly with autism. What's also not well known to MD's is that Vitamin C does the same thing, better and much cheaper Big Pharma has been " brainwashing " MD's from medical school up with phony research and stories about Vitamin C not doing what it really does. If the truth ever becomes known to the public, 100's of profitable drugs could be replaced. Vitamin C and Glutathione both are the " natural " ways to get toxic minerals out of the body, and virtually all autism patients are loaded with mercury (and/or other toxic minerals).. It's the major cause of autism in the first place, both inherited from the mother's toxicity and driven beyond the limits of the liver filtration by vaccines containing it as a preservative. If it gets into the blood in the brain, it can destroy or damage brain cells, and autism is now present. I have been advocating for years that use of vitamin C in pregnant women will not only prevent autism, but use of it can remove mercury from the bloodstream of an autism patient. Why use expensive Glutathione when Vitamin C is so cheap to use, and it works the same way to remove toxic minerals. There's a lot of people selling and making Glutathione at a huge profit and you see some of them at every autism convention or Expo. They don't want you to know about Vitamin C, as it is so much cheaper than their product. Guest guest
I studied glutathione intensely from 2004 to 2006. The first thing to understand is that eating glutathione is not effective as it is destroyed by stomach acid. The only way to raise cellular glutathione levels is to consume sufficient quantities of the 3 building blocks of glutathione which are glutamic acid, glycine, & cysteine (2 cystine molecules bonded together). About 2002, glutathione became a hot topic & buzz word so now everyone wants to sell you their supplements with glutathione in them. The surest way to increase glutathione levels is to consume undenatured whey protein. SAMe would also help. N-acetyl cysteine tastes unpleasant & causes stomach upset, I have heard. I prefer Immunocal but have gave up trying to make a career out of it some years ago. If you believe as I do that Autism is caused by introduced toxic substances in the body & brain along with intestinal, free radical, & inflammation issues, then raising glutathione is an excellent way to address all these issues, & can not possibly do any harm. Going slowly at first to prevent a detox reaction would be wise.
