Contact me off-line if you would like to discuss more.

Hi,

It seems reasonable to me since MS is not a TCM pattern or D & D.

OTOH Yin Deficiency with a true Yang excess is a TCM Diagnosis which happens to

fairly often (in my experience ) coincide with MS.

There are other parts to specific patients tongue and pulse diagnosis as well.

Doc

BTW I have treated about 30 patients with this pattern. Overall CM has a very

good rate of success in controling the course of this pattern.

MS sufferers will often present with a variety of patterns, from my

experience (and I might have seen a few hundred MS clients at this stage)

there is almost always some Damp accumulation. Therefore diet is an

absolutely critical factor in the treatment of the condition. MS in my

experience is usually a Deficiency condition....Deficiency of Liver Blood,

Deficiency of Kidney Yin and also sometimes Kidney Yang. Of course, like no

Western medically defined condition there are no set rules and I treat in

accordance with the individuals presentation.

Kind regards

I would disagree with the latter. MS is a TCM disease. Check out ITMonline

Sorry to hear of your daughter. I've heard that hyperbaric oxygen treatment

might be helpful with MS as well as stem cell. Where in California are you?

Are you sure that your daughter didn't take a Fluoroquinolone type

antibiotic sometime before being diagnosed with MS? These types of

antibiotics can cause symptoms that mimic MS. Cipro, Levaquin and

Avelox are three of the most common ones prescribed. They all have

horrible side effects that can last for months to years. They attack

the nervous system and do permanent damage. tby

I've done a bit of research on MS, and am looking for good articles,

references, etc. on Alternative Medicine treatments.

Could folks suggest some ?

Other suggestions, advice and sharing of experiences are also very welcome.

I'll of course use these entirely at my own risk and responsibility.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Apartame or Nutrasweet poisoning often mimics MS. Does she consume

" diet " products?

http://www.dorway.com

Personally, I would take a prescription drug only as a last resort

after trying every " alternative " therapy I could find and afford.

I suggest reading everything you can about the Marshall Protocol, as

MS is an autoimmune disease.

http://www.marshallprotocol.com/

The forum format is a bit difficult to find your way to information quickly.

Here's a good place to start:

http://www.marshallprotocol.com/forum2/364.html

This is about a recent finding

http://www.marshallprotocol.com/view_topic.php?id=7987 & forum_id=11 & highlight=mul\

tiple+sclerosis

Also go to http://www.mercola.com and run a search on sclerosis.

It comes up with 743 hits, the first 10 look very interesting.

i believe the cure is iodine.

i had thought for a long time that colloidal

silver would be effective but never got a

confirmation on that till now. this is good,

because CS doubles for iodine in the body by

performing many of iodine's extrathyroid

functions like immune system enhancement and tissue repair.

i am not surpised about diet. i think the iodine

protocol and eating, wearing, and swishing some

quality oils is all it would take. avoidance of

mercury and fluoride is essential as well

And lots more in the forum

Dr. Hans Nieper had success with 2-AEP Membrane Complex, Calcium 2-AEP and

Lithium Orotate. Do your research on these supplements.

Healthy diet, elimination of white flour and sugar, elimination of grocery

store dairy and elimination of gluten. 30-40 minutes of sunshine daily.

The Johanna Budwig diet would be a good place to begin.

Eliminate of physical and emotional stressors is very necessary. Lymphatic

drainage including skin brushing and mini-trampoline.

snippet from:

Evidence is accumulating to show that multiple sclerosis is a result

of deficiencies in which vitamin E complex (as found in butter) is

vitally involved. (12) Further, vitamin E is now found to be a remedy

for the disorders of menopause, (13) showing how these deficiency

diseases follow their victim through life.

Hello Shyamal.

It is not just soft drinks, by a long shot. Aspartame is also in most diet

foods - or 'low' sugar and 'no' sugar foods. Many people don't realize that

they are ingesting aspartame as it also goes by several names - however they are

all actually aspartame -- Equal, Nutrasweet, Equal Measure, Spoonful and

more. It is best to stay away from any food that has artificial sugar in them.

And a similar chemical of the same 'family' Excitotoxins, is also in foods and

gives many people health problems is MSG. And a lot of people are not aware

that sulphites cause similar adverse effects as MSG - I found that out last year

when I went to a new doctor and found sulphites in the REAL lemon which I was

using everyday [ since stopping that, my stamina and energy has increased 5

fold, and many other benefits.] Though MSG is the same kind of chemical as

Aspartame it's effects do not seem to be as lasting [except with cancer] as

those

of aspartame. And they are both very additive.

I have tons of urls for aspartame, splenda, and msg. These are only a

few below. [ I have included a url for safe sweeteners ]

I wouldn't be surprised that vitamin E plays apart in M.S. However ,

this isn't the only nutrurent the would play a part in M.S. development. There

have been studies that have linked M.S. to vitamin D deficency. It is know that

people who live closer to the equator are less likely to develope M.S.Also fair

skin people who are more likely to avoid sun exposer are more likely to develope

M.S.With the development of sunscreens the number of cases of M.S. have

increased. It is also important for nerves to be supplied with Vitamin B complex.

There is another study that linked M.S. to trama to the tailbone in

younger yrs. The study claims that most M.S. victims can recall a time that they

had fall where the tailbone was injured.Howerver,I wonder how many people

haven't experienced a trama to the tailbone as a child.

I have a friend who use bee venom therapy to treat her M.S. While bee

venom has it's risk ,she as had good results. There are several sites on the web

for anyone who would like to reseach it.

GOOG LUCK!

I would like to second the aspartame argument and also add that she

needs to get splenda out of her diet. I can testify to the adverse

affects of splenda. In my case it affected my cycle as well as

muscle problems.

Yes, I agree. We need to be eating real food not artifical food.Whats

more we should strive to eat food that is close to what nature had entended, not

stripped of any food value.I would add get rid og the food coloring.
