I know this may seem like an odd subject to bring up here, but I believe you

never know where inspiration may strike and someone has that great idea that

you've been looking for. I'm trying to formulate my resolution to provide for

our daughter's future. Our journey through her Autism is making strides. That

said, like most parents of special needs children, I wonder if we will have the

funds to accommodate her needs...and how to provide for her adulthood, if she

still needs assistance. Insurance doesn't cover most of her therapies, and I

don't know if that will change if healthcare reform goes through. Plus I have my

own health issues. I've looked at getting a job at a local retail store, but I

am the primary facilitator/teacher of her Son-Rise Program, so I just can't

justify the time away from her. So, I'm trying to think of a business that I

could start at home. I'm looking for some ideas.

I've organized or helped with fund raisers (walks/concert/etc.) for Autism

charities in the past and have done dog rescue, but I have come to realize that

with my stage 3 kidney disease I need to get our own financial foundation solid

for our daughter's future (in case something happens to me) before I try to do

for everybody else. I want to do more charity stuff in the future, but I need to

figure out a sustainable income so our daughter has what she needs long term.

Your insights are appreciated.

Peace be with you!---Nicole

Dear Nicole,

I fished your letter out of the deleted file a second before cleaning that up.

It had been in the junk mail for some reason. Does that mean anything? I don't

know but

just thought I'd mention it.

Please read the following carefully. People are so often in a hurry and miss

nuances,

and jump on the first idea they do or don't agree with.

First: are you aware of the neuroliminal system? The blessings of bio-feedback

without

the hard work and for a fraction of the price. It WORKS for many autistic kids,

while

they sleep. Visit http://drbate.com

You know, not that long ago I would have been all over you, in total confidence

that,

Trumpet Call! I had THE answer to your problems. .....Get started with some

excellent

health products, improve the health of your child and yourself, and share the

blessings through your own ever-expanding home-based business. Tadah! problem

solved.

I sincerely believed that. I am a bit more cynical about network marketing these

days, but on the other hand, I DO know people who have made it work. One was my

mentor in Amazon Herb Company*. She was earning a healthy living, from home,

while

devoting her life to her Down Syndrome daughter.

Last summer at the farmers' market I met this young woman knee-deep in small

kids,

who is also making a good living from home with Tupperware.

Reflexology fixed her back (small brag) and we stayed in touch. I am mentioning

these to show it can be done.

Tupperware won't do much to help your health issues, but I sincerely know

nothing

better for anyone on the ADD/Autism spectrum than a gentle and affordable total

health program based on my beloved blue green algae.

Many people just run at the very concept of MLM. Well, a networked product

changed

my life 13 years ago, and I remain forever grateful to the friend who introduced

me to

AFA algae. She might not have mentioned it without the business model that

rewarded

her for spreading the word.

I am not at the moment the right kind of person to help someone build a

successful

business. I am getting an old age pension (so far), enjoy a simple life, and

don't have

what it takes. I'd rather garden.

But here is someone who does know how to build a business, with a loving heart.

Donia Alawi is making a more than adequate living, and she can get you in touch

with people who are using the algae-based products to help autistic kids.

I have sent her an email with a copy of this exchange, just in case you decide

to

get in touch.

PS:*I loved that business and had a small but steady

income from it. Alas, they terminated all their Canadian distributors.

But for the autism spectrum nothing beats the algae.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still collecting ideas and brain storming.

With my stage 3 kidney disease, life insurance is not an option for me. My

husband has insurance, but if I go first, he will have to work a lot to keep up

financially, and that's time that he won't be spending with our daughter. He is

the only one who knows her and her Son-Rise Program as well as me. Nobody else

in our families have gotten the training from the Autism Treatment Center of

America. So, I need a way to make money to save so that he can be with her if

I'm not.

Thanks!
