Guest guest
I know this may seem like an odd subject to bring up here, but I believe you never know where inspiration may strike and someone has that great idea that you've been looking for. I'm trying to formulate my resolution to provide for our daughter's future. Our journey through her Autism is making strides. That said, like most parents of special needs children, I wonder if we will have the funds to accommodate her needs...and how to provide for her adulthood, if she still needs assistance. Insurance doesn't cover most of her therapies, and I don't know if that will change if healthcare reform goes through. Plus I have my own health issues. I've looked at getting a job at a local retail store, but I am the primary facilitator/teacher of her Son-Rise Program, so I just can't justify the time away from her. So, I'm trying to think of a business that I could start at home. I'm looking for some ideas. I've organized or helped with fund raisers (walks/concert/etc.) for Autism charities in the past and have done dog rescue, but I have come to realize that with my stage 3 kidney disease I need to get our own financial foundation solid for our daughter's future (in case something happens to me) before I try to do for everybody else. I want to do more charity stuff in the future, but I need to figure out a sustainable income so our daughter has what she needs long term. Your insights are appreciated. Peace be with you!---Nicole
Guest guest
I am not sure this is the place to mention it, but according to my information, fine wine is outperforming everything else, including gold, in the markets, partly because its foodstuff status absolves it of certain taxes (altho personally, I hesitate, owing to the failure to accommodate investors low on either solid assets or resistance to alcohol).
