Why in earth would you even consider supporting a group that does not follow

your values?  I think your mom was on to something and I suspect that if she

found out what you are doing, she would be upset.  Perhaps it may behoove you to

rehash her life and see if you can answer the question -- How was the quality of

her life?  In her last years, could modern medicine have made her any more

comfortable?  Perhaps check with other MS patients and really do some research

on your own. 

 

there's more to disease than drugs or natural remedies.  Natural work best when

one works on themselves in an holistic fashion (mind, body, spirit, emotions). 

That also goes for the conventional drugs, except conventional drugs have so

many side effects, they prevent or inhibit the body's own natural abilities to

work at healing itself. 

 

In my opinion, there are many diseases that can be prevented and/or cured but

these organizations (including companies producing and testing the drugs - many

of them OWN or have " Interest " in the organizations as well) would no-where near

make the kind of money they make IF they were to find a cure.  I believe it's

easier to take that for granted than to be constantly disappointed with the

state of affairs in the medical community.  We all have the capacity to help and

heal ourselves, but the majority are plugged into Drug Consciousness.

 

Look for local organizations or people who truly need help, and organize your

own crusade to help them afford holistic care to support their recovery from

illness/disease.  most can't afford it but would certainly benefit by it.  In

this fashion, you KNOW where every dollar that you work hard for goes; because,

you cannot stop the almighty dollar and big corporate conglomerates, but you can

make a difference around you in a positive way....

 

Certainly -- this is my opinion.
