Guest guest
Smit, In my particular case, it was my uterus and bladder that prolapsed. But in either case, the cause is the result of relaxation of the muscles of the pelvic floor. This can be a thread that runs through families or it can be caused by multiple pregnancies, as in my case. Kegel exercises do help to tighten the muscles in the vaginal area. Your Dr should be able to tell you if it's the cervix, uterus or bladder, or a combination. If he is not capable of distinguishing the differences, then I would seek another GYN.
