I'll ask my Japanese wife. Of course, she usually buys it from the local Japanese food retailer shops, but she (or her friends) might know of an decent online source too. (This might be a silly question, but are you sure there are no oriental food retailers near you?) On a humoric note, I must say that I can't stand the stuff, particularly the way it hides at the back of the fridge, only to come out when I'm off my guard and stink the house out! But each to his own! My wife never stops reminding me of how healthy it is ... and my 7 year old daughter loves it! Then ensued one of those typical matriomonial arguments where I argued that some small Japanese retailers *must* be keen on running a small mail order sideline in natto ... and she argued that the costs would not justify it ... and I argued that the costs were very low. Eventually she came out with, " But it would have to be sent regrigerated. " I'm not sure if she was just trying to win the argument, or not. I can only recommend you try Googling and see. Guest guest
We do have one in Manchester: however, I thought it was more of a Chinese place - would it matter? I guess one way to find out is to go check it out :-) I'd still be interested in an online one though. Thx. Guest guest
Thanks for the " old college try " :-) There's a company in MA that sells it - but you have to buy a case or two and I really don't want to do that without knowing if I like it or not! Want to send me a spoonful (haha.just kidding).
