Guest guest
Hi all, I have been reading the posts here but can't remember if i've ever posted before. Was wondering if anyone had any answers for handling vertigo. I hate allopathic medication and am compelled to pop pills. Am also taking Conium 200 (homeopathic)which is supposed to be very effective. Am a bit apprehensive about stopping the allopathic meds because the prospect of falling is quite scary... any alternative remedies, accupressure points etc would be most welcome. Thanks, Peri India
Guest guest
Hi Vahistem, In my years of offering Reiki to clients, I have had one client with Vertigo. He had been the allopathic route with no help. After one session with him, vertigo was non-existent. I am a Reiki Master Teacher and so I used the second Degree symbol with the harmonizing and balancing symbol in addition to full Reiki treatment. I always pray before each session and myself to drop into the enery space of my client. I protect myself of course and proceed. I am positive you will be guided by your electromagnetic energy to the right Reiki Person near you or request Reiki distance healing. I will offer this distance healing to you in the meanwhile and intend for you to receive it for 7 days! Until you find someone with integrity and your best interest at heart, you cannot 1) be afraid, 2) cannot entertain doubt that you can be healed, 3) that you Trust the Universe knows how to resolve this for you NOW and know it is done for you now and that you are fulfilled and grateful. God Bless. Guest guest
Have you looked into Traditional or Chiropractors as a possibility? At one stage during my progression towards better health I was using TCM and one of the supplements I had been given to take had been to address problems of dizziness and light-headedness (Vertigo is included in this " group " ) Apparently in TCM balance problems related to the head are described as " wind " and between those treatments and chiropractic adjustments I rarely have these problems nowadays, or if I do they are much milder than they used to be. I have actually found that too much " exposure " to electrical appliances such as electric blankets, bedside lamps etc will cause light-headed feelings, which go away if I keep everything turned off. Cheers Lyndall ---- vahistem 30/09/2009 10:51:47 PM Any tips for dealing with vertigo? Hi all, I have been reading the posts here but can't remember if i've ever posted before. Guest guest
Good for you going in the right direction overall avoiding medication. Did someone recommend Conium to you? Hopefully you have some guidance with the right remedies and how to follow through. It should be able to resolve this with the right one(s). Yes that must be scary. Guest guest
Check for an Iron deficiency, it is often overlooked and then simplest way of treating vertigo. Otherwise the TMJ moves through bowen therapy will help. All the best Diana Moore http://www.bowentherapy.homestead.com
Guest guest
Vertigo, or dizziness, is a symptom, not a disease. The most appropriate cure depends on the conditions at the root of it. Is it an inner ear condition, or a deficiency of zinc, or a congested liver? Any of these can be contributing factors. A good diet with the full complement of minerals and trace minerals, and a clean liver never hurt anyone. Many people find Ginger helpful. Could it be Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo? That is caused by small crystals in the wrong place in the inner ear. It can be managed by exercises that manouever them safely into a corner where they do no harm. Google Epley Maneuver, there are some Youtube instructions on how to do it. Here is one, with enthousistic reports from people who made it work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QikUTAmeE0M & NR=1 And let us know how you make out! Guest guest
Thank you, yes i am using Conium 200 (homeopathic) and R29 drops (Dr Reckeweg). Mine has been diagnosed as BPPV. Thanks for the Epley manoeuvre link, there are docs here who do it too. Will check it out. Peri >
Guest guest
This may have been suggested, but acupuncture is very effective and ear candling works almost instantly or overnight for me. I especially like to do ear candling a day before I fly because I do have a lot of ear problems and travel a lot for my job so I tend to be susceptible to inner ear problems from scar tissue. Good luck, I sympathize. vahistem wrote: > > Thank you, yes i am using Conium 200 (homeopathic) and R29 drops (Dr Reckeweg). Mine has been diagnosed as BPPV.
