I don't know if there is anything that could cure a cavity, I think

there probably is, but it needs to be discovered. After all, cancer

can be cured, and a cavity is basically cancer of the teeth, so I

think there is a cure somewhere.

I think the best way to prevent a cavity is Peelu tooth powder. I

really think it's the most powerful stuff in the world. Taste

terrible, but you can get used to it in 1 month. It's just pure

ground up powder from a certain tree. Blew my dentist mind when I

started using it, he said wow, you've been brushing better, and

really taking care of your teeth.

I said no, I haven't done anything different than I ever did. I

just found the secret.

and of course I think Fluoride is crazy, I don't know why they put

it in toothpaste, and our drinking water. Who knows, it might be

fluoride that accually causes cavities.

I've read a few things about cavities naturally. One, is that if

your mouth is metal free (no metal fillings, IMPORTANT) you brush

every night w/ food grade hydrogren peroxide. But if you do have

metal fillings, brush with pure baking soda instead of toothpastes.

However, there are toothpastes in organic stores that consist mainly

of baking soda mixed w/ a few other natural ingrediants and real

spearmint or something and it tastes better..if you're that picky

about it all. Otherwise, first rule would be to get metal fillings

replaced with plastic fillings and a full mouth cleaning by a

dentist that believes in doing it naturally. Brushing with one of

those two things though, usually keeps the mouth totally bacteria

free. I started using baking soda a lil less than a year ago adn

have had no teeth issues and haven't had a cavity in about 11 years

or so. OTher than all that, I don't know of any specific herbs, but

I read of lady who's teeth were about to fall out, and she was put

on a specific diet program of lots of Vit D and calcium and other

things to strengthen the teeth and it actually worked for. but it's

really specific.

I have been on flouride toothpaste my whole life ( I am 34) and my sister and I still do not have cavities.

I do not like the idea of flouride, esp. for my kids, but it must have done something?.unless it was just luck. The rest of our family members are riddled with cavities and brittle teeth.

Just wanted to offer my experiences.

Hello,

Yesterday I saw the dentist for a dental cleanse and he found I had 2 minuscule

cavities. He said he wouldn't fix them because they are too tiny, just a tip in

the enamel, and it's better to wait. In the meantime he suggested that I should

rinse with a mouth rinse that contains fluoride every night.

I would like to know if anyone has any opinion, or suggestion about this matter.

I'm reluctant to use fluoride and I wonder if it's possible to stop cavities or

revert them when they just start.

What can I do?

Thanks,

Rena

Rena,

I have used an essential oil toothpaste (Thieves Dentarome Plus) for over 8 yrs,

hadn't been to a dentist in 14 yrs, and didn't even need a cleaning when I did

go.  No cavities, just had to get a temporary crown replaced.  It is a Young

Living product with NO flouride.  It has Myrrh which is very good for gums and

teeth.  If you're interested in some, email me.  Some of the " so called "

natural toothpastes are NOT really natural and have unsafe ingredients.  I've

done some investigating on this subject.

Rena,

You might have some other issues of health also which are giving support to this

problem. You should start Homeopathic medication chosen Classically by a

homeopath. Perhaps above two sentences look very surprising but the result out

will be more astonishing.

fluride is linked to cancer, so I never use fluoride rinses.  Maybe just keep

them very clean, and keep an eye on them.  He seems honest that he doesnt want

to drill.

I'm going to disagree. The fluoride one receives in an over-the-counter  rinse

is minimal, not to mention that scientific evidence does correlate with

significant cancer incidence  or diagnosis. Moreover, there is strong evidence

that dental hygiene  that included rinsing, flossing and  professional

evaluations,  is directly related to heart health, and a strong predictor  of

heart disease. If you insist on refusing the fluoride, seek the advice of a

QUALIFIED integrative medicine  M.D.

I dont think its possible to revert the cavities, but one can stop the

further decay/deterioration with measures.
