To the group,

    1.  Posting the order form for my book was not my idea but the doing of a

well intentioned person. I'm a little embarrassed & I apologize to the group.

    2.  There is an important update to this (2007) information. While I am

still absolutely positive that Pyroluria ( & it's sometime consequence of

Alcoholism) is not Genetic but rather an infection. I had originally reasoned

that Pyroluria was due to a multi-resistant bacteria because it seemed to

respond to Vancomycin.

After reading more of the work of Dr Constantini & much further thought, it

is more reasonable to conclude that it is due to a fungal infection due to a

diet high in yeast produced foods such as beer, bread, & cheese along with foods

frequently contaminated by mold such as peanuts, corn, potatoes, grains, &

greatly aggravated by the overuse of antibiotics (which incidentally are made

from mold). We will not know the identity of the infectious agent for sure until

I or someone else has the willingness & funds to do a more thorough lab

investigation.

    3.  Therefore if it is indeed a fungal induced condition, Pyroluria can also

be thought of as an overgrowth or colonization as well as an infection.

    4.  This Hypothesis is absolutely for real & must be

generally accurate because the Therapy actually works to greatly calm Anxiety

related disorders such as ADHD, PTSD, Panic attacks & the strong urge to self

medicate with Alcohol or drugs in less than one hour.

    5.  To prove my therapy & my sincerity, I will give away the first part of

the therapy which gives quick but temporary relief on my website within the next

week or so. I must withold the complete long term therapy for those who get the

book. (I do have bills.) I ask in return that those actually with Pyroluria

report

back their results. I also request & hope that the complete therapy not be

posted anywhere. I expect a 70% success rate but even 10% would be a wonderful

help to many people.

    6.  Why should the average person care about Pyroluria? It is an undiagnosed

& hidden epidemic which in my opinion is responsible for 80% of Alcoholism & the

majority of Anxiety related problems such as sex, work, shopping, & gambling

addictions. Chronic Anxiety can not be dismissed but demands a response,

soothing, or escape of some kind. Everyone knows someone they care about who

suffers due to Pyroluria. And Pyroluria induced problems greatly stresses

society & the health care system.

The more you investigate this " medically unrecognized " condition, the more

interesting & personally relevant it becomes.

I'm so sorry, Mike! I didn't realize I was out of line by pasting the order

form into my post! Thank you for being so kind and calling me

'well-intentioned' instead of 'KNUCKLEHEAD'. I would have deserved it!

Please accept my apology for causing you this embarrassment. Of course it was

NOT you trying to make a shameless plug, I was looking to help Linda, who for

some reason can't access your site (as I'm sure you've learned from the posts).

I apologize to the group as well, and thank you so much for the update.

I truly am intrigued by your theory, particularly since it opened my eyes to

Pyroluria for the first time. I don't happen to know anyone on a personal basis

who is an alcoholic or has an autistic child, but am aware that there are dozens

and dozens of people who come into the compounding pharmacy where I work as a

technician that are in the endless cycle you speak of. Anxiety, ADD/ADHD and

pain medications seem to dominate our days. Of course, these people are on Big

Pharma's traditional poisons.

Yes, you heard me right. We are a very small independent pharmacy that MUCH

prefers to compound natural therapies for our patients as much as possible (such

as bio-identical hormone replacement - the FDA and Big Pharma HATE that). We

also research and promote commercially-available nutritional supplements, as

well as less-damaging prescription dosage forms such as topical pain relievers

that eliminate the devastation to the liver that oral forms inflict.

Your comments about the corruption of the medical / drug industry and the

government strike the bulls-eye. We actually feel it's terribly unfortunate that

all this blight that is Big Pharma is our bread and butter, as we're located on

the ground floor of a medical office building.

The good news is that we're working to spread the word about natural therapies

to these practitioners and, while we've definitely received resistance, we've

also been able to show some of them the light, and now they're our allies in

helping people truly to feel better! We tell our patients whenever possible to

seek out a different way, and people without insurance are continually

astonished at how low my boss keeps our prices. I guess that's why her pharmacy

is still so tiny after about 15 years - she truly wants to HELP people, not

profit off of them for herself.

I have personal concerns, too, both for my husband and myself because, despite

my proselytizing about the natural way, we are currently on traditional

therapies for ADD/depression (me) and anxiety/depression (him).

I've been on antidepressants for years, and feel like I've never really been

helped. My therapy for ADD has only been about three months, but so far I feel

it's only made me WORSE. The stimulants - far from relieving my forgetfulness /

time management-problems / ability to plan ahead for things / blah, blah, blah -

seem actually to be disconnecting me even MORE from myself. Suddenly I'm more

prone to emotional outbursts at work; what a nightmare. The one and only

improvement I've seen is that I'm far more patient on the road than I've ever

been, and my husband can tell by calculating my mileage between tanks of gas

that I'm driving with a much lighter foot. Aside from being afraid to let THAT

go, I'm ready to chuck these things in the trash and go back to being slightly

LESS empty-headed and unmotivated! *Sigh*.

Only yesterday evening, I got on the internet to find an answer to my husband's

recent problem of an electrical sensation every time he turns his head and

terrible dizziness whenever he moves.

After finding this -

http://paxilfree.org/basic-facts-1-electric-shock-sensations/ - and reading a

little further, I ran out and asked if he had by chance skipped taking his

Paxil, and he said YES!! Oh, my God! The author is so right about the

ignorance that abounds - here I work in the INDUSTRY and I've never even HEARD

of this!

I am so scared, angry and frustrated right now that I could just scream!
