Guest guest
Well, just hit the delete key, Alia. We need to know all that is going on in the health industry. What they are attempting to do to us would make alternative medicine illegal. Guest guest
And all this is misinformation, and outright lies. Obama hasn't proposed anything of the sort. Private insurance is still available. He has said so numerous times. Republicans are doing their jobs well, spreading slander and lies to keep the current failing system in place. If Obama succeeds there will be far more options available, including alternative medicines. You think republicans care about your alternative options, not in the slightest. This is the BIG issue we need to investigate and discuss and leave the Republican, Democrat hatred issues aside. We all know BIG PHARMA has for years tried to make holistic/homeopathic/etc treatments illegal and force our suppliers out of business. Guest guest
Alia, While I am neither Republican or Democrat, I am going to address ths to you. You first said you were tired of this thread. When someone else commented to you to just hit the delete key and voiced their opinion , you came back with a retort. What I got from that retort is 1. Your a democrat and that is fine. 2. You seem to like President Obama and what is is doing. That too is fine, however others have a right to state what they see and feel. I myself did not vote for Mr. Obama for reasons I will explain, I took time to really listen and to read. I read a book of his where he commented on his father and his fathers people. saying He would side with them. I heard his preachers remarks and Mr . Obama knew how this man was and felt for years, yet he continued to go there to church until He felt it was losing him the election. He did not want to wear a flag pin or place his hand over his heart when pledging allegiance to our country. Now this other is to the ones who are against him, If you helped put him there then accept what you did and move on. I am nether republican or democrate, I simply read up on each canidate and vote for whom I think is the better of the two. I will say this in ending my email, For those who do not like Mr. Obama, there is something called Impeachment and if enough people stand up for this it will happen. Also to all who complain about how things are being done, Stop complaining and do something about it. If 1 person that isn't a Christian can get things done think what several people working together can do. Oh and by the way While I believe in a Creator , I don't claim to be Christian either. I am simply someone that believes there is higher power and I walk the Red Road. I am proud to be an American A Native American. Guest guest
Where in the bill does it say it will try to make alternative medicine illegal? In other countries that have Universal health care Alternative medicine is an integral part of their system. Big Pharma and the insurance companies are the ones who don't like Alternative medicine because they can't profit off of it. If health care becomes a not for profit industry it make sense that more alternative answers would be sought out to save the government money. For instance if the government realized that many vaccines are being given for illnesses that have been eradicated then they would stop making them mandatory as it would only be costing them more money to continue. People fear what they do not know and many people are playing on that fear to try to block the health care bill. NO BILL is perfect. I'm sure there are things in its 1800 page glory that will need to be changed, updated, etc. But it is a start in the right direction. No person in a country supposedly as great as ours should have to decide whether they are going to eat for the next month or get stiches for a gaping wound. It's just not right. In my opinion Health care should be a right not a priveledge. --- On Sun, 8/9/09, Cynthia <cynsayre wrote: Cynthia <cynsayre RE: Drugmakers helping Obama socialize medicine Sunday, August 9, 2009, 9:21 AM Margi wrote: We need to know all that is going on in the health industry. Guest guest
Hi list, Thank you for the spirited discussion concerning the disease care bill. I like most Americans have insurance and I am OK with it. It needs to be improved particularly the aspect of insurance companies making life decisions. I do oppose any bill of this magnitude that is rushed through the Congress of Idiots. Is not that I have any confidence that those dunces will be able to come up with something decent to control the Pharma and Insurance masters but just the fact that they are trying to push it through without much time for scrutiny is crazy. I blame Obama for this rush. Any reasonable person would allow plenty of time for discussion and improvement. But beyond that, I want to have Obama tested first He has no background for me to rely on his judge net and thus I am requesting for him to divide the endeavor into two distinct phases First, reduce the cost of disease-care and then install a sensible universal insurance without any government intervention, of course. Prove to me that he is capable of delivering ANYTHING before supporting his Congress of Idio'ts concoction. Thanks poppourrihere in the bill does it say it will try to make alternative medicine illegal? Guest guest
Alia, You are exactly right, this is simply rediculous. Information is just information until there is a spin on it, and all the crap that has been surfacing in this group is just perpetuating lies and propaganda.
