Is Fasting Anorexia?

All the religions teach fasting, even Scientology. Doctors diagnose it as

anorexia and treat it as a disease. The medical diagnosis of Jesus is

" anorexic, with delusions of religious grandeur " . Source: 'The Manufacture of

Madness' by Dr. Rudolf Szasz, M.D.

The 500 year old mineral drugging medical system is the legacy of Paracelsus

who introduced eight metals into medicine and invented the concept of the

synthetic drug. His reputation is based on seemingly curing three patients of

syphilis by using mercury.

Later, a skeptic looked back and found that all of his patients in Basel died

within a year of being treated by him. (Source: Pachter, Paracelsus- Magic

into Science) In his own time he was known a " The father of all devils " , the

protagonist of the Faust legend- The medieval alchemist who sells his soul to

the devil for a chance to play god, kills a lot of people and comes to a bad

end. The Dictionary of Scientific Biography calls him 'a great doctor'.

His medicine won out for the following reasons: His followers noticed that he

was never without money and always paid in gold. Pachter suggests that

Paracelsus had learned to color other metals to look like gold.

The rise of large cities in Europe was accompanied by a large increase of meat

in the diet. Remember those 'voluptuous' (read phat!) Rubens nudes? No meat

eater wants to be told what to eat. So these people will pay anything for a

medicine that does not ask the patient to change his or her diet or lifestyle.

So today we have patients using acid suppressing drugs and gastric bypass

surgery- redesigning their insides to conform to the concept of the

cheeseburger.

No attempt to fix the health care system can succeed until we address the

biological lie that permeates our cozy little modern world.
