Guest guest
Using acidic juice or plain vitamin C (plain ascorbic acid in the cheapest form) takes time to gradually dissolve the calcium that composes the kidney stone. It has to be done molecule by molecule, and that ain't fast. Another method is to use sonic waves to break up the stone into smaller particles, and this sometimes works well. Non-surgical, and by having smaller particles, the pain should go away, and the vitamin c should work much faster. (or other acid sources). -- Phil Bate PhD http://drbate.com - Free Alternate Health Advice Neuroliminal Training (NT) helps solve mental problems without drugs at low cost. Guest guest
It is actually a gall bladder flush and I am unable to find the recipe taught us in homeopathy school unfortunately. Upon searching to see if someone else has it I found the following information....it's different, but do consider. From memory, this sounds like it - 1/2 cup of olive oil and 1/2 cup of lemmon juice...this person explains it well: http://www.treelite.com/downloads/GallBladderFlush.pdf Here is a variation: http://www.electroherbalism.com/Naturopathy/Regimens/Liver_Flush_Regimen.htm I have a liver flush diet if anyone would like to have a copy I'll send - write me off-list. Guest guest
The origin of this flush (as far as i know) comes from the healer Edgar Cayce, it includes the eating of apples alone for 1-3 days prior to the olive oil (the inclusion of lemon juice is a current modification that people find helpful). It was specifically given for gall bladder stones, but Cayce said that it would 'cleanse all toxic forces from any body'. As a person who has done the diet i can tell you that it certainly true, and more so than most any other cleanses i have tried. If you are going to do it, by all means make sure to stay hydrated, as the kidneys are put under a fair amount of stress from the liver's detox. I don't personally know of individuals who have done this flush for kidney stones, i am not sure that this would be my first protocol, and then i would never do it alone. Also, without the apples if there is a gall bladder stone, it could get stuck in the duct, this is a warning, but i have known many people to do the flush with all sorts of matter coming out and have never seen that happen as long as the apples are eaten (they break down the stones). Guest guest
The site curezone.com has a lot of information on the flush. There is another way to get rid of kidney stones: the tropical herb Phyllanthus Niruri. It is known in the Amazon as Chanca Piedra or Quebra Pedra, literally stone breaker. In India is is called Bhuiamlaki. It is a common tropical weed. Side effects are all positive. This great herb supports liver and kidney function and is a powerful anti-viral herb as well. Some members of this group have used it successfully, check the files. I'd get it from http://rain-tree.com Ien in the Kootenays, far from the tropics but we do have Dandelions.
