Obama Administration and thousands of health and environmental

journalists by the National Institute for Science, Law & Public Policy

in Washington, D.C., documents the vast body of independent science

showing biological effects from microwave radiation in an easy to read

manner and offers guidance on how to live safely in the Wireless Age. It

is also a call to action for citizen engagement in shaping government

policy with regards to technologies that have not had adequate

best publication to date, that makes a very difficult topic accessible

to all in a simple, readable, and understandable format. This is a must

read for all of us as Wi- Max is being rolled out, which will thoroughly

blanket the country in microwaves, scheduled for 2010 (next year). It

explains what we can and must do to protect ourselves and future

generations, both personally and politically, and take back sovereignty

over our lives and health. Please pass this info on to your doctors,

neighbors, government officials, parents, teachers, reporters, etc.

Given life on this planet evolved in an electro-magnetic environment

considerably more benign than the human induced current condition, and

further given that we know that biological systems operate at low

frequencies and intensity levels far below the current exposure levels,

it is only common sense that there will be biological consequences at

these exposure levels. The effects can be relatively benign at low

exposure levels as the systems are capable of resolving the biological

insults, but with increasing intensities and exposures we are committing

all life forms to a disturbing experiment with potentially dire

outcomes. The 110 questions form a good basis for people to understand

the issue and its impacts on them. Ignoring the realities of such things

as cell wall permeability, DNA breakage and a host of behavioral and

health disruptions will lead to a planet that may no longer sustain life

as we know it. I doubt that evolutionary responses in all but prolific

species like insects and some rodents will be rapid enough to compensate

for the population impacts we will eventually see, and in the case of

humans the escalating health care costs that will occur. Numerous

authorities in the book (the quotations are very good) raise a clarion

call to action around controlling the proliferation of wireless devices

and the communications networks that sustain them. One can only hope

that the reality of the biological research findings and the growing

health related consequences of exposure awaken a resolve to deal with

the technology and standards to reduce exposure and like this book

increase awareness. At some level the message is akin to that raised by

Rachel Carson around our uncontrolled use of pesticides and the negative

biological impacts.

mostly " hidden " dangers of EMF (electromagnetic frequency) exposure and
