Make your husband eat atleast peeled cloves of two to three  big pods (or four

to six small pods) of garlic in a week well cooked with other food especially in

Indian vegetable, lentil, pulses curries ( you can purchase Indian cuisine

cookbooks containing recipes). You can see good results from the first week

itself and substantial relief in  four to six months. Garlic should however

never been eaten raw as it could cause peptic and deodenal ulcers to many.

Garlic well cooked with other food is also good for preventing strokes as well

as high/ low B.P.

Nerve Issues

Hello,

I thought I would post and ask if anyone might have any ideas of herbs,

vitamin supplements or diet that might help with nerve disorders.

My husband suffered a back injury in late Spring at work. He had 3

slipped discs, one up against a nerve. Since that time and physical therapy, he

did not get better and actually is now in a debilitated condition and can't

walk. He did suffer a mini stroke 2 weeks ago. The doctors are also not

sure if this is connected or this is two separate conditions. The doctors at

this time suspect a nerve disorder. He is 55 with no genetic background of

nerve disorders.

Therefore at this time, I am looking for anything that might help

rejuvenate the nerves.

Any suggestions besides B12 and/or St John's Wort?

Thanks,

Shirley
