Guest guest
I have had a problem with my left ear for close to 10 years now. It has caused me much hate and discontent for it will make me dizzy and once I get moving it will be fine. It seems to bother me when I get sinusitis which I have a chronic condition for. A couple of months ago I developed a sinus infection--went to the doctor-told her I was feeling faint while sleeping--waking up only after going to sleep, feeling faint, nausea and could not go back to sleep, she gave me a course of antibiotics. Well, it went away for awhile and started back again--much worse and I ended up in the ER--they sent me home-nothing wrong with your lungs-heart or abdomen, see ya later. The following day I went back to the doctors and saw a different one for I could not get into my PCP--he told me the eustachian tube is what is causing me these problems. Took me off of the other meds and gave me a good talking to about not letting this get so far out of hand. Does any one have any good homeopathic suggestions as to how to make /help this tube become unclogged so I can get some sleep?? I have been on the new meds for 5 days now and have a FU apt. with the doctor on Mon. I just want this thing to open up--get a good night sleep from not having the motion sickness. Also--they took a Vitamin D, 25 Hydroxy test--while the normal is above 30--mine is down to 15, which is low--if any one could suggest a good vitamin D along with calcium for me to take so I can bring this up I would greatly appreciate it. Also--thanks for all those who inquired about my synthroid--my TSH was 11.5--being off the synthroid for almost 2 months--that is what my levels have been on/off the meds--any help with this one would also be appreciated. Thanks so much Blessings: Izabel
Guest guest
Izabel, Your story sounds very familiar. In 2004 I started having what seemed to be a heartbeat in my ear occasionally. It came and went for a couple of days and then turned into an earache. I went to the doctor and they did not see any signs of an infection but gave me antibiotics anyway. Said it was the eustachian tube and just needed to drain properly. After the bottle of antibiotics, I still had an earache. Went back and was told this is a common problem and they did not see anything wrong and there was nothing can can do. I was to live with the pain for the rest of life if it did not go away. That was just not a good enough answer for me so I went online and found millions and millions of people that had the same problem. Most had all been to multiple doctors and got the same response. The majority was affected in the same ear, the right side, which I thought was strange. I really felt hopeless and lived with the ear pain for 1.5 years. I started having some pain in my face and decided to go one more time to the ENT. I walked out of there, really pissed off. He told me I had acid reflux and to take a little purple pill. I refused to take a purple pill and I refused to believe that there was no cause or cure for this. I spoke to some people in the herb and vitamin shop and was referred to a doctor who practiced chiropactic, homepathic, and naturpathic medicine. I called him and he said to come on by that evening. He worked on me for about an hour and when I walked out of there, I not only did not have an earache, but I felt like I was 16 again. I started feeling better and better as days went by. I would be afraid to say what he found was the root of my ear pain because everyone is different. I highly recommend if you do not have someone who does holistic medicine to find one close to your area and see what they can do for you. Another thing to know is the antibiotics are extremely dangerous. I have had to do a lot of work to rid the effects of using them previously. I took Levaquin in April this year for a sinus infection and now I have Atrial Fibrillation. Had I known that Levaquin was linked to causing this heart disease, I probably would not have taken it. My sinus infection was not even curable with antibiotics because it was pulips. After being treated conventionally from February to April with no success, I again went to the holistic doctor and he cured me for a mear 60.00. Now I am seeing him for the AFIB. Guest guest
Hi Sandy, I would love to know what treatment you are having for you're a Fib. Also how it affects you. Leone
Guest guest
Leone, I am so new to the Afib stuff I really dont have much experience under my belt yet. Only having 2 episodes. the other morning though, I thought I was having an attack but nothing ever really came on. I had the high adrenaline rush going as I was simple washing dishes and when I would go sit down, I felt calmer. I kept checking my heart rate and it did feel a little high but it never went out of rythym, I had all the other symptoms like nausea, and slightly dizzy so I am not sure what that was. My holistic doctor first worked on emotions- systems and then organs. He did 1 manual chiropractic on the center on my back area. That was a week ago. as far as I can tell, I have not had another episode yet and I have been under an extreme amount of stress. Loosing my job, my daughters problems and possibly knowing I may have to take care of her 3 children 24/7. That is really just the tip of the ice berg. I will keep you posted how it goes. I am currently taking the following supplements as well. B6, B12, Folic acid ***I take thos to lower the levels of homocysteine I had. Seems to be helping with my nerves for sure. fish oil, magnesium Glycinate 800 mg cayenne I have a bottle of Lopressor for the PIP approach and I take 1 325 mg asparin a day.
