Guest guest
Hi, I'm confused on what a synthetic vitamin is...my husband says all vitamins out of a jar are man made and the best way to get your vitamins naturally is by eating fruits and veggies (which I do). But is anyone familiar with GNC (General Nutrition Centers)? Are their vitamins synthetic? I bought their brand of vit. C recently and am now wondering if they are doing me any good? If anyone can help me understand about the synthetic vitamins that would be great. Thanks, Genevive
Guest guest
Genevive, Synthetic vitamins/medicines are engineered in a lab, now that's pretty simple but basically tells it all. Around here we refer to them as " one molecule away from plastic. " Natural vitamins from fruits and vegetables are certainly better but in today's farming by industrial enterprises, all the natural minerals, vitamins and benefits are leached out by overproduction, improper care of the soil, no crop rotation, and worst of all chemical sprays. So you ask, well then what do we do for bettering our health, and I answer, find a natural product, made from carefully harvested ingredients, buy certified organic fruits and vegetables for they will be much better for you. I have found Quantum Nutrition Labs out of Texas to be outstanding in their ingredients, production and service. I do not have any financial benefit from mentioning this, I am just a very satisfied customer. Dr. Bob Marshal, PhD. of Premier Research Labs, is also the founder and director of Quantum. He is highly respected in the homeopathic/holistic community and all of his products are guaranteed to be free of soy, corn, wheat, milk, salt, sugar, magnesium stearate, yeast, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They have trained nutritionists available to answer any of your questions with one phone call. Ted Nelson is wonderful and his knowledge is outstanding. Their web site is http://www.qnlabs.com/ Hope this helps you on your journey to optimal health. Namaste` Cynthia
