Over here in south asia, there is a major mosquito problem.

I would like to know of a repellant that is easily available, eg. onion, garlic.

etc.

So far, these didn’t work satisfactorily either.

I use a natural bug spray on all insects, it slows the flies down and you can

kill them. It's 1 ox each of citronella oil, rosemary oil, and tea tree oil. Mix

in water, dilute to the strength you think you need it to be at. I use about a

teaspoon each in a 32 oz spray bottle.

It works on roaches, spiders, flies, etc. I haven't seen it not work, and I live

in an old creaky house in the inner-city of Indianapolis. We've had everything.

There you go!

Also, for health questions, try curezone.com, it's great.

Blessings and prayers,

I recently purchase geraniums. The Orange Fizz geranium produces a scent to

repel mosquitoes. One other article claimed mosquito grass is better.

They both are plants that are natural suppliers of citronella i was told. I am

not certain - so please research before you purchase the plants. Factcheck.com

may know the best method.

I keep mine in pots that can easily be moved to where they are needed that

evening.

my problems lately are deer.

In my humble experience, rubbing fresh mint leaves on the exposed skin really

helps.

I read that 1 tablespoon vanilla in 1 cup of water applied to the skin will

help. Also, place vanilla extract in small containers where gnats gather, and it

will attract them and drown them.

Here are some that use essential oils:

For after the bites:

If you put some lavender oil the area the red bump and the itching will

disappear within a few minutes. It's really quite amazing.

Good luck,

I like to use Silver Solution Gel. It protects from infections/bacteria and

soothes the skin. You may contact me if you would like more information.
