Guest guest
Dear Sonja- I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Waldo. Deciding when it's time to help them cross over is a heart wrenching experience that I know all too well. Sending sympathy and soothing thoughts as you grieve... Be well, Janet --With much sadness I have to let everyone know that Waldo Puppy has crossed the Rainbow Bridge to be with his departed friends. On Sunday afternoon he could not walk or lift his head any longer, this was such a fast progressing thing, that we really had no time to do much of anything. By Tuesday morning we made the decision to stop his suffering with a phone call to the vet. He could no longer relieve himself or lift his head or walk. The only thing that he could do with look at us with those beautiful pleading soulful eyes, that said he " was ready " to go. So many of us have taken the final trip with our four legged companions, so many times...and I can tell you it never gets easier. But you have done the very thing that Waldo needed, you knew it was " time " it's the " quality of life " and you sat with him in his final moments, as so many of us have done. My female Doberman, Diva is (fingers crossed) going to be 13 in Sept. She's come down with spinal arthirtis, is now on an herb called " osteo herb " ....she walks with a limp, but howls if she doesn't get her daily walk( she gets hers before her young brother-Dillon & I powerwalk), and she loves her meals (raw fed). She's also on Hawaiian Noni Juice, I was told by an herbalist, that it cleans out the digestive system, which helps aches and pains. We'll hold you in our thoughts. Guest guest
A dog deserves a sendoff like that, if only because he would give us one if the tables were turned, and if he could.
