Exploring Spirit At The Caritas Spiritist Center, 3775 Iris Ave., Suite 3B, BoulderEach Monday, 6 to 7:30 pm FREE! June Theme: The Chakras and Transformation The seven major chakras are part of our subtle or etheric body and are aligned vertically from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Subtle energy enters the body through the crown chakra and moves downward to the lower chakras. The hormonal secretions produced by the endocrine glands (in response to the subtle energies filtered by the chakras) also affect the state of consciousness and the emotions. Each chakra represents a specific emotional and spiritual issue in our evolutionary development. In addition to affecting physical and emotional well being, each of the seven major chakras is also an organ of psychic perception, as we will see as we explore the individual chakras. Topics: · 6/1: First and Second Chakras· 6/8: Third Chakra· 6/15: Fourth Chakra· 6/22: Fifth Chakra· 6/29: Sixth and Seventh Chakras Exploring Spirit is a weekly gathering open to all. Each month has a theme; each week, a topic addressing that theme. The gathering consists of an introduction of the weekly topic with open discussion, followed by cleansing passes administered by the healing staff. Refreshments are served after the gathering. www.CaritasSpiritistCenter.org
