Guest guest Posted May 28, 2009 Report Share Posted May 28, 2009 why would a 13 year old have a hgb of 6.9??? I thought they transfuse at hgb of 9. Normal is between 12-14 for women. This child needs further and speedy evaluation by her doctor...or some other specialist. She must feel so rotten. Regards, Rose McC R.N.
