Guest guest
I just received this newsletter in my mail box : Bipolar disease is hard to treat — unless you take this... Bipolar disease is a debilitating condition. It causes its sufferers to alternate between depression and mania. Sometimes, one or the other will be worse. It's a tough condition to treat. But now there's evidence that one particular nutrient may offer help. Researchers recently conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study on 75 patients with bipolar. They gave the treatment group 1 gram of NAC, twice daily. They all saw their depression symptoms lessen significantly within five months. This is a nice breakthrough. NAC is a precursor to glutathione, the all-important cellular detoxifier. People with bipolar and depression are typically deficient in glutathione. NAC helps to raise your levels. NAC is one of my favorite nutrients for heavy metal detoxification as well. If you have bipolar, or any kind of depression, take this information to your integrative physician. It might help to incorporate NAC into a comprehensive treatment plan.
