Guest guest
In reading on this forum about mammograms, I was under the impression that x-rays were bad. I just came back from my dentist where I refused to get YET another x-ray (they x-ray me EVERY TIME I'm there). Can anyone shed any light? It's hard for me to believe the old explanations about airliners or the sun giving off more and more harmful radiation.
Guest guest
From my own knowledge on the subject, yes X-rays are bad for you. The body cannot get rid of the radiation from the x-rays so over time it continues to build up inside your body. I would definitely avoid excessive numbers of x-rays wherever possible. I'm sure that there will be someone else on this list who has more knowledge than I and can explain things better. cheers Lyndall - " floater20 " <floater20 Friday, May 22, 2009 6:57 AM dental x-rays In reading on this forum about mammograms, I was under the impression that x-rays were bad.
