Guest guest
Greetings, My name is Amber. I am a Full time SAHM to 2 little girls ages 7 & 3 ( soon to be 8 & 3)!! I am 26 years old. I have some questions regarding my health, and what I can use for some of my issues - so, Here Goes: #1. I am over weight by 100lbs. I am having a hard time losing, but I am not doing anything yet for my weight problem as far as exercising, but I am eating better! Also I was diagnosed with Hypoglycemia not too long ago, and that is also contributing to my weight problem. What kinds of herbs can I use to supress my appetite.? #2. I am having problems with Stress, and Anxiety. What Kinds of herbs can I use to relax me more. As I always have chest pains from the stress, and anxiety. #3. I have been having problems with my Menstrual Cycle. I have Polycystic Fibrosis Disease ( which my endocrynologist said all the symptoms I have - the irregular cycles, The cysts on my ovaries, the skin tags under my arm pits, The excruciating cycles, The excessive weight gain is all the components to having Diabetes). What can i do to ease the pain. #4. I seem to have short term memory Loss - where i can't remember alot of things that I have done...I am sitting here now and thinking what I did yesterday, and I can not remember. It is very scary. I remember what I did Monday though. #5. I can't seem to focus - My thoughts are everywhere. This is also very scary to me. What can I do to get more focused. That is about all I can think of for now! All the help and advice would greatly be appreciated. Thank You, Amber Schwarz. * new member *
Guest guest
Hi amber..I have had depression problems and stress problems and this might sound silly but when i started to change my diet (which was advice from ppl on this list) from sodas,meat..and all the other garbage i was putting in to my body..and started transforming my diet to a vegan diet i found that my stress level and the feeling of being depressed went from all the time to hardly ever..i mean it didnt go away totally b/c there were some issues that i had to deal with that was also the cause but i can say that most of it went when i started to get healthy...i felt better about myself and i did whatever i needed to do or say to keep a positive attitude..attitude has alot to do with everything if you know what i mean..and i also believe that we can speak life or death into ourselves and if all that is coming out of our mouths are negative things then thats what we will live..so i started to daily say to myself and even to peopl that were around me that i am gonna be okay..im am healthy..and just whatever else was a need in my life i spoke positive about it and still am b/c i still have things to work on and i am not even totally healthy yet but i speak it upon myself..along with doing what is needed to be healthy which u can find alot of info in the files that i think will help you..i know that might not be of much help to you or it might ...and for the diabetes my mother has it also and she is working on that ..she has started to change her diet to a vegan diet..shes not totally there yet but she's getting there more and more everyday and just that alone has helped her tremendously...she is also gonna be starting on some cleanes one at a time which is something that you should probably consider looking into maybe starting with the juice cleanse which you can find in the files...and if you are taking medication...i am not telling you to stop them although its adviseable but thats another thing that has also helped my mother with feeling better..she has stopped all her medications she was on and belive it or not has helped so much..in her case they were making things worse for her...and with the weight ..i gained alot of weight after i had my daughter well a little before i got pregnant but it got worse after i had her but i have been looseing alot with the diet change and juice cleanse..also exerciseing...i dont know what kind of food you eat but i would suggest if u eat meat, sweets, etc, and drink sodas etc that you should take that out of your diet..it has helped me and ppl around me...i hope i was a little helpful to you and i am sure that others onthe list will give you some good advice...~*`~Amber Schwarz~*`~ <dolphinsong27 wrote: Greetings,My name is Amber. Guest guest
Dear Amber, Hello and welcome to this group. The very first thing I want you to do is give yourself a big hug and pat on the back for having the fortitude to search for help! That is often the hardest step for a person to make, so kudos to you! PLEASE don't get scared off by the information that is available to you here. I'M SURE THERE IS STUFF YOU NEVER DREAMED OF IN YOUR WILDEST NIGHTMARES and Now for the truth... Unfortunately, people in this country are lied to and mislead by the current medical system (what we call here " allopathic " ) and this leads people to become addicted to poisonous food and drugs. If you are serious about getting healthy, then I suggest you stick with this group and read as much of the information in the files that you can. The people on this group are very supportive and will help answer your questions. There is no magic panacea or miracle herb you can take to relieve your symptoms...and relieving your symptoms SHOULD NOT BE YOUR GOAL! Your goal should be to change your dietary lifestyle and physical lifestyle to CURE THE DIS-EASE. You see, the modern medical community and the modern food supply system do not want you to cure your dis-ease, then they wouldn't be able to keep selling you their drugs and addictive foods! I completely understand your wanting to know what herbs you could take (I am an herbalist), but the first thing I would recommend is a dietary change. I won't lie to you, there are herbs that can help you transition, but if you are not willing to make a change in your diet, then taking herbs would just be an added expense to your budget. Please keep reading... The first thing you need to do is NEVER consume MARGARINE, DIET SOFT DRINKS (this includes soda, flavored waters, Crystal Light and any other product that lists ASPARTAME as an ingredient), or any products containing MSG or HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL or HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP again. The chemicals that these products contain are POISON and ADDICTIVE! There are many articles in the files section of this group to back this up, please read them. If you are willing to do this, then you will eliminate a major contributor to the stress and addictive components to your diet and will, in effect, relieve a lot of the emotional stress you feel as well. You see, when you feel a constant physical addiction (that you don't realize you have), then of course you are going to have emotional symptoms as well. So, when the physical addictions are eliminated from your diet, then you will gain the emotional release as well. Remember, the doctors and food chemists don't want to tell you the truth because they want you to keep taking their drugs and eating their addictive food! Once you have accomplished this, then you will automatically start substituting healthier choices into your diet because you will no longer be eating empty calories. You will start eating healthy, whole foods like ORGANIC veggies and fruits. And guess what...you will be able to afford to eat ORGANIC because you won't be WASTING your precious food dollars on junk! We use junk very broadly here, because most of the food you have been led to believe is healthy is not! You say you do not eat cakes and cookies, etc...but most " cereal bars " , " fruit snacks " , and " granola bars " in the grocery store are JUNK!!! Once you have eliminated these foods COMPLETELY, then you will find that you no longer crave sugar. YOU WILL get to the point to incorporate a more stringent diet of whole foods, but I don't want you to stress over this. You need to tackle your families dietary lifestyle in stages. This should be a steady progression for you, okay? I know that many people are going to respond to you by talking about cleansing and herbs to take, but I want you to succeed. You need to take things step by step, okay? If you need further guidance feel free to email me privately. I highly recommend that you send a private email to Dr. Shillington to request his free tape. Again, everyone in this group is very supportive and we are all here for you. I just hope that you don't get scared off by the information here because it can be overwhelming to someone new to the TRUTH. Stay aboard and regain your health! Guest guest
Hello Amber, Really what I would suggest to you is: 1. contact Doc privately and get his free taped lecture. This you definitely need to make the needed changes in your nutrition and lifestyle 2. listen to the lecture 3. call Doc on his free first consult (for those who listen to the lecture), to get yourself on a program This program from Doc will (99% likely) include his Total Body Cleanse. This will start your body on the road to total healing. I have done this cleanse myself, and lost 7 kgs doing so, with no effort on my part. I am still very gradually loosing weight, and all just by eating healthier!!! NO diet!!! The tape will explain this healthier eating! You see, your body has most likely been contaminated over the years; how can you expect ANY healing with ANY herbs/medications/etc., when your body does not have the necessary basic building blocks (nutrition) with which to repair the damage done? Such contamination can also definitely affect you mentally! Anyhow, start with #1 above, and you will begin a journey to a much better you :-) love Lisa de Haas Senior Moderator p.s. I have seen your posts regarding Atkins diet: I would not recommend ANY diet right now - just improved nutrition. Bodies are very good at regulating themselves, providing they are healthy! So that's what you should be concentrating on. - ~*`~Amber Schwarz~*`~ herbal remedies Saturday, January 15, 2005 3:01 AM Herbal Remedies - Hi! I am a new member here..... Greetings,My name is Amber. If you fail to plant desires in your subconscious mind, it will feed upon the thoughts which reach it as a result of your neglect. Guest guest
Amber In addition to what Lisa says... Also get into the files section of the Board and start reading some of the articles Doc has provided. You can also start doing the the following immediately to get yourself and your body used to what will need to be changed (and will be covered in further detail in the tape and in the articles): *Start taking Total Nutrition formula - I have to say that this formula has been a life saver for me and the one thing i continue to do even when i am not following other principals of a good diet (i know shame on me!) Due to your diabetes, try half Fresh organic apple juice with half distilled water in the drink. * Get off ALL processed foods, especially those with white flours and SUGAR. NO Soda!!! Try green tea without sugar, or fresh organic juice (opt for veggie juice over fruit juice due to your currrent diabetes issue.) *If you eat alot of dairy foods, try to start weaning yourself off of them or at minimum, switch to organic dairy only. Almond milk is awesome as a milk replacement for coffee or cereal. * Start adding lots of fresh veggies to your diet. These are easy things that you can do right away and that will half a positive effects on your body. I got my dad started on them and they helped him (he has Type II as did my grandma). about 2 years ago i was diagnosed with Insulin resistance which is the begginning of Tpe II but i changed that with the cleanse and healthy eating. You've come to the right place if your are truly looking to get healthy.
