Soy??? Barley Formula

Hi,

The trouble with any ready-made formula, is that it does not contain the nutrients in its natural form, and therefore might not be so easily absorbed by a baby (or anyone for that matter). In contrast, the home-made barley formula is totally natural and is made to be absorbed to its maximum.

I'm not sure about the nutrients - Doc may be able to answer that question. I just know that my son is a very strong boy, and apart from a very occasional cold, has never been ill. This is VERY unusual for a Down's Syndrome boy, who normally suffer various health problems.

I think that most regular milk is homogenized. No, the barley water is a major source of protein for a baby, as well as numerous other nutrients. You might be able to find out which if you do a search for the contents of barley. Barley is not in this formula for the taste, but for it's nutrition!

love

Lisa
