Guest guest
Hi Elizabeth, Check the Female Formula in the files. This is to regulate and balance the female hormones, so that sounds like the best solution to me, as it's the hormones that regulate menstruation. love Lisa - Elizaberth LaViola herbal remedies Monday, January 10, 2005 12:45 AM Herbal Remedies - irregular menstruation Of course the Dr. prescribed the Pill for Dd, 16 due to infrequent periods. Guest guest
Hello Elizabeth, Go to the website of the group, and on the left hand side you will see various menus buttons, one of them is "files". Click on there, and you will find a wealth of information there, including the Female Formula :-) love Lisa - Elizaberth LaViola herbal remedies Monday, January 10, 2005 9:04 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - irregular menstruation Can you explain? Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have used femma herb by Dr. Christopher, and another brand by Wild Rose, Dr. Terry Willard. It's very similar to Dr. Christopher's. In addition to Dong Quai. When I take it reguarly I am so much better. When I slide I end up in my irregular boat. I have had irregular cycles most of my life, very heavy and long cycles. I benefit from detoxing twice a year. In the spring and fall I usually do mine. I really have to watch mucus forming foods in particular. I also take liquid calicum citrate. Fertility, just didn't happen for me even though my sister has 5 children. Too late now, I'm in my mid 40's and I am happy being an Aunt and being a mother to many young and old. I also found that ginger root (fresh) works nicely if cramping occurs. I cut up about 5-10 slices and steep for 5 - 10 minutes. Usually need a couple of large cups of it. Like about 16oz's of it. I was a vegetarian for 16 years and just recently started introducing meat back into my diet. (sorry if this sounds disgusting to some) My B12 was so low it was -80 how it ever got that way I don't know. I ate plenty of miso, soybean curds, lentils, brown rice, & millet. I had to take shots for 6 months, which was from sheep liver anyways. My levels are okay now. I took some herbology courses at Wild Rose College and in my younger years I worked in healthfood stores that sold bulk organic products and had wonderful herb departments. All of which has enhanced my life. Any other ideas or suggestions that have helped folks? I welcome any thoughts or ideas on either herbs or foods to improve my condition. with blessings, Jane
