Caffeine is Useful

I was watching " Gardening By The Yard " while checking posts. It

seems that a 0.1% solution of caffeine which is approximately the

amount in a cup of coffee is enough to " do-in " all but the largest

snails and slugs in your garden. A 2% solution is enough to do them

all in. Hmmm. I'm glad I got off caffeine as I was drinking enough

in my early days to choke a horse. In the show they said that

caffeine-laden products would probably soon be on the market as a

treatment for these pesky garden intruders. Now I have a reason to

save the espresso machine I was given. <g>

Wow, that's good to know! How did they say to use it? What does it do to

plants?
