I sometimes take supplements for adrenaline support. Is there something natural I can take rather than the costly supplements?

Karen, may I ask what supplements you are taking for your adrenals?

I have a friend that takes supplements too. What were your symptoms

of your adrenals?

Thank you

Gina

Feeling like I'm on a dose of caffeine, feeling hungry and food

didn't satisfy it, I've had headaches from it, and a friend noticed

once that my pupils were slightly dialated. When this happens I've

taken a natural adrenaline support supplement and things are fine. I

just don't know what causes it - toxins?, something missing in my

diet? etc.

Could be an Iron deficiency. May also be hormonal problems or both.

I'd need more information on what you eat, and your daily lifestyle

before willing to get too involved in offering you a solution.

Standard Processes offers an adrenaline supplement, and this has a

homeopathic approach to fixing this problem. Homeopathy is an

excellent natural approach. You may also wish to try spanish black

radish for the fainting.

This is the best advice I can suggest with the amount of information

you've provided.

Sincerly,

Dr. Tom - Thank you for the connection. I had no idea that it could

be related to an iron deficiency. Shortly after my last episode I

discovered I was very enemic (have a history of this). My hormones

are in fairly good shape for a peri-menopausal woman. I am very

familiar with Standard Process and I am now taking the FerroFood as

an iron supplement - my quick fix before the supplement kicked in

was 1T Organic Molasses which worked well. I haven't gotten up the

nerve to try Doc's " Panther Piss " yet. LOL Both Apple Cider

Vinegar and Molasses are difficult to swallow on their own - I can

only imagine both at once. I'll continue supplmenting Iron with SP

and Molasses/Diet since I haven't needed the adrenaline supplments

since I started treating the anemia - I just didn't make the

connection. Wow. <s>

You are welcome.

Sometimes these things are in front of you all the time, but you

can't see the forest for the trees so to speak.

Let me know how this turns out.

I agree, they usually are except that it can be difficult to enough

the right information to connect the dots.
