Guest guest
I'm not clear on what UT is in this context. But, I have gouty arthritis in two fingers, which is getting much better. I don't avoid meat, but I don't eat it daily or even sometimes weekly and then only clean meats (antibiotic and hormone free). No organ meats which are high in purines! Cherries are good for gout, lots of fresh veggies and fruits. And cleanse the body, cleanse, cleanse. Gradually increase the amount of pure water - at least 3 liters and a gallon if you can work up to it - that pretty much eliminates my capacity for tea or other liquids. Search for high purine foods - there are lots of lists on the Internet. Limit carob and chocolate. Also, I take natural (complete) enzymes when I eat meat and overly cooked foods. I think enzymes and cleansing are the ticket - read Doc's article on enzymes. I have had this condition for 1-1/2 years and I plan to get rid of it. It went from intense pain any time I even bumped one of the affected fingers to barely noticeable. Any suggestions from others will be appreciated. herbal remedies , " chongyk7 " <acyk@s...> wrote: > > > 1. I am not a certified herbalist, however, I just happened to read last night that Celery Seed Extract may be recommended for Gout. It is a diuretic. Others here who are more qualified may have other recommendations. It is at least worth reading up on celery. Jenn
