I too wonder what would help my colon..... I am afraid to try the 'colon cleanse', as I have suffered from colitis in the past, and I suffer from diarrhea most of the time. As a youngster, I suffered from constipation. <sigh> I would like to do something to make my colon more healthy....as I know it's not, or I wouldn't still have diarrhea. If anyone knows what would be best, I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks,

Candy

Hi Candy,

This is what Doc says in the files on Intestinal Cleanse number 1 and 2:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Intestinal Cleanse #1 stimulates peristalsis or the muscular movement of the colon. If a person has Colitis, an ulcerated colon, Crohn’s Disease, an irritated, aggravated, or inflamed bowel or 3 or 4 bowel movements a day with some diarrhoea, they do not need to stimulate peristalsis so they do not need to use Intestinal Cleanse #1. They want to soothe and clean so they do Intestinal Cleanse #2 ONLY. This formula will firm up the faeces and give great relief to the bowel. Possibly at some future date, Intestinal Cleanse #1 may be needed by the above people.

love

Diarrhea can also be a sign that your kidney's aren't entirely doing

their job. (I don't know what your diet is like, which is a huge

factor. Meat protein can complicate this.) I'd get the DOC to

monitor you while doing a cleanse - but it is clear that you need to

clean up your system and be on a healthy, but gentle diet until you

heal.

Could feeling bloated and not really peeing more often when you drink a lot

of water also mean a kidney problem? Or would that be more of a bladder

problem?

My personal experience has been that difficulty in peeing has been a

bladder infection (when there is no obstruction or physical problem

that you are aware of). Usually this gets worse and I have had

severe pain associated with it. When my kidneys were not working

well (pre-cleanse) my doctor told me that the excess water was being

eliminated through the bowels causing the diarrhea. You don't

necessarily have to have a kidney infection for this to be the case -

that's why the cleanse is important.

I don't have any pain, so it must not be a bladder infection. I just

bloat and don't pee. Wonder what on earth is wrong with me...seems

like EVERYTHING!

The last couple days I've had very bad gut and stomach pain. I switch

from feeling like I'm going to have diarhea (but not having it) to

feeling like I have trapped gas bubbles that hurt like crazy!

After making several what felt like emergency trips to the bathroom

night before last but nothing happening I finally pinched out to

teensy weensy BMs mixed with lots of blood. Looked like lots in the

water anyways.

Form #1 doesn't seem to work anymore. Not sure what now. I've been

wanting to try prune juice but I've looked at my two grocery stores

within driving distance and have never seen any prunes in the fruit

section. Maybe I'll buy some prune juice online.

Not sure how to start the cleanse if Form #1 isn't working. I'm

afraid to just try taking more, what if I just get more pain but

can't go!?! What a mess!

If you have blood in your stool you to talk with DOC and see what he

recommends. Don't fool around with this on your own.
