Hey Kelli, Thanks for your reply:) Well um my diet could certainly

use some changes. We don't eat too much red meat (once a week), no

fried foods, we eat chicken and plenty of cheese. We don't usually

eat organic anything and we use regular 2% milk from the store. We

eat lots of fruit and veggies again most not organic. We would eat a

lot more organic foods if there were a place to purchse them. I mean

we use organic carrots from the grocery store and a few other things

that are readily available. We drink distilled water (lots) Eat whole

wheat bread and rye. Natural peanut butter and use smart balance

margerine. So as you can see most of what we eat is probably a real

no-no LOL. We don't have alot of money right now but I would really

like to do what I can to start on my way to feeling better. As far as

exercise, not much. I don't breathe very well so even doing the

vacuuming takes me some time. I have gained alot of weight in the

past 4 years 35 lbs. (went from 160 right after the birth of my first

son to 195 lbs, before pregnancy I was 145 lbs I am 5'8 " medium

frame) The advair and the prednisone don't help with the weight

problem. I do use a rebounder and a health walker but can't do them

for long with my leg it cramps up from the illiac disease. So

basically I do one for a minute and rest a minute and so on for 15

minutes twice a day. I have gotten better I used to only be able to

do either for about 20 seconds LOL I am also doing pilates for 20-40

minutes in the early am. It isn't difficult but then again I just

started doing that about 3 weeks ago. We don't own a juicer. I used

to have one but could not find enough organic fruits and veggies to

use in it and I didn't want to drink pestisides so I got rid of it.

Anyway, as you can see I have a long way to go. Any advice would be

great! I need all the help I can get LOL. I hope I have given you

enough info and haven't bored you too much with all the details.

Thanks! Vikki

Hi Vikki!

Sorry for the late response. No, you didn't bore me with the details!!

They're very helpful. I just have out of town company and haven't been

at the computer for a few days. I did read your post and wanted to make

a few suggestions.

1) Eat more fruits and veggies. Organic is better, obviously, but even

if you can't readily get organic, eat more fruits and veggies. The more

raw, the better also. Anything cooked over 115 F or so, has been killed.

Your body needs LIVE food. Also, I recommend that you take a digestive

enzyme every time you eat cooked food.

2) Anything that's a grain, seed or bean, sprout it before you eat it,

or minimize the unsprouted ones you eat. They contain enzyme inhibitors

which is also not good for you. If you eat any unsprouted, take an

enzyme. (This means your peanut butter, too.)

3) Try and cut out the animal products which are not organic. What is

being done to the meat industry is criminal and it's nothing you want to

put into your body. Cut out the margarine. Use organic butter, if you

have to, but better yet, switch to olive or coconut oil. They're easy to

cook with and my husband even loves coconut oil on his sprouted bread

toast! Cut out the cheese. Switch to almond milk, rather than cow. (Best

to sprout your own almonds and make the milk yourself, but buying it

would be better than cows' milk.)

4) Keep up with the exercise and the distilled water.

I don't know how much asthma medicine you're on, but I would recommend

that you get some lobelia tincture. If you can cut back your medicine

and use the lobelia when you need it, you can eventually get off the

meds.

If you don't have the time, money, or inclination to do the total body

cleanse right now, try a juice cleanse. The data is in the files. It's

really wonderful and will start your body on the road to healing.

OK, there ya go! LOL! I hope this helps and that you find some things

here that you can use.

Best to you, and Happy Holidays!

Thanks for all the info Kelli:)Where is the formula for the huff and

puff stuff? (I have seen this question asked a few times already) I

would also like to make the total nutrition and I understand a part

is a volume amount but how much volume would I use for a month

supply? Is it a tablespoon, a 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup what? Also where it

says 1.5 volume is that like if you were using a 1/2 cup measure then

you would add a 1/2 cup plus a 1/4 cup (3/4 cup) for the 1.5? Can I

get the ingredients at a healthfood store and could I give it to my

kids who are 3 and 4 years old? Also, is lobelia tincture something I

would buy or make?

Thanks again, Vikki

Hi Vikki,

I'm going to post the Huff 'n Puff formula. I have it at home, not here

at work, so you'll see it late tonight or tomorrow night.

Hmmm, I have never made the Total Nutrition for just one month. I

personally don't think I'd make it with less than a volumne of 1/2 cup

as a unit. I guess you could do a 1/4 cup, but as you pointed out, then

the 1.5 units would be 3/8 which gets kinda hard on some measuring cups.

You can probably find some of the ingredients at your healthfood store

and many people on this list have found the ingredients through the web.

You can definitely give it to your kids!! Remember the 150 rule - you'll

want to give them less, but do start them on it! It'll be great! :)

You can either buy or make lobelia tincture. :)

Best,

Kelli

In a formula a 'part' can be whatever you want, tsp, tbsp, cup,

whatever, depending on the quantity you want to make.

I'd use a 1/2 cup measure to start. I just made mine last weekend

and used 1 cup and ended up with a quantity that I believe will last

about two months.
